And Mosheh called all Yisra’ĕl, and said to them, “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl, the Laws and Right-Rulings which I speak in your hearing today. And you shall learn them, and guard to do them.
2 “YAHUAH our Elohim made a Covenant with us in Ḥorĕḇ.
3 “YAHUAH did not make this Covenant with our fathers, but with us, those who are here today, all of us who are alive.
4 “YAHUAH spoke with you face to face on the mountain from the midst of the fire.
5 “I stood between YAHUAH and you at that time, to declare to you the Word of YAHUAH - for you were afraid because of the fire, and you did not go up the mountain - saying:
6 ‘I am YAHUAH your Elohim who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage.
7 ‘You have no other mighty ones against My face.
8 ‘You do not make for yourself a carved image, any likeness of which is in the shamayim above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth,
9 you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, YAHUAH your Elohim, am a jealous Ĕl, visiting the wickedness of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
10 but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My Commands.
11 ‘You do not bring the Name of YAHUAH your Elohim to naught, for YAHUAH does not leave him unpunished who brings His Name to naught.
12 ‘Guard the Shabbath day, to qadosh it, as YAHUAH your Elohim commanded you.
13 ‘Six days you labour, and shall do all your work,
14 but the seventh day is a Shabbath of YAHUAH your Elohim. You do not do any work - you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, so that your male servant and your female servant rest as you do.
15 ‘And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Mitsrayim, and that YAHUAH your Elohim brought you out from there by a strong hand and by an outstretched arm. Therefore YAHUAH your Elohim commanded you to perform the Shabbath day.
16 ‘Respect your father and your mother, as YAHUAH your Elohim has commanded you, so that your days are prolonged, and so that it is well with you on the land which YAHUAH your Elohim is giving you.
17 ‘You do not murder.
18 ‘You do not commit adultery.
19 ‘You do not steal.
20 ‘You do not bear false witness against your neighbour.
21 ‘You do not covet your neighbour’s wife, nor do you desire your neighbour’s house, his field, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, his ox, nor his donkey, or whatever belongs to your neighbour.’
DEḆARIM (DEUTERONOMY) Chapter 5
11/21/25

22 “These Words YAHUAH spoke to all your assembly, in the mountain from the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the dense cloud, with a loud voice, and He added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.
23 “And it came to be, when you heard the voice from the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, that you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes and your elders,
24 and said, ‘See, YAHUAH our Elohim has shown us His esteem and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. Today we have seen that Elohim speaks with man - and he lives!
25 ‘And now why should we die? For this great fire is consuming us. If we hear the voice of YAHUAH our Elohim any more, then we shall die.
26 ‘For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living Elohim speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?
27 ‘You go near and hear all that YAHUAH our Elohim says, and speak to us all that YAHUAH our Elohim says to you, and we shall hear and do it.’
28 “And YAHUAH heard the voice of your words when you spoke to me, and YAHUAH said to me, ‘I have heard the voice of the words of this people which they have spoken to you. They have done well in all that they have spoken.
29 ‘Oh, that they had such a heart in them, to revere Me and to guard all My Commands always, so that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
30 ‘Go, say to them, “Return to your tents.”
31 ‘But you, stand here by Me, and let Me speak to you all the Commands, and the Laws, and the RightRulings which you are to teach them. And they shall do them in the land which I am giving them to possess.’
32 “And you shall guard to do as YAHUAH your Elohim has commanded you - do not turn aside, to the right or to the left.
33 “Walk in all the Way which YAHUAH your Elohim has commanded you, so that you live and it be well with you. And you shall prolong your days in the land which you possess.
“And this is the Command, the Laws and RightRulings which YAHUAH your Elohim has commanded, to teach you to do in the land which you are passing over to possess,
2 so that you revere YAHUAH your Elohim, to guard all His Laws and His Commands which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days be prolonged.
3 “And you shall hear, O Yisra’ĕl, and shall guard to do, that it might be well with you, and that you increase greatly as YAHUAH Elohim of your fathers has spoken to you, a land flowing with milk and honey.
4 “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: YAHUAH our Elohim, YAHUAH is one!
5 “And you shall love YAHUAH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.
6 “And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart,
7 and you shall impress them upon your children, and shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up,
8 and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
9 “And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
10 “And it shall be, when YAHUAH your Elohim brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Ya’aqoḇ, to give you great and good cities which you did not build,
11 and houses filled with all kinds of goods, which you did not fill, and wells dug which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you shall eat and be satisfied -
12 be on guard, lest you forget YAHUAH who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage.
13 “Revere YAHUAH your Elohim and serve Him, and swear by His Name.
14 “Do not go after other mighty ones, the mighty ones of the peoples who are all around you,
15 for YAHUAH your Elohim is a jealous Ĕl in your midst, lest the displeasure of YAHUAH your Elohim burn against you, then He shall destroy you from the face of the earth.
16 “Do not try YAHUAH your Elohim as you tried Him in Massah.
17 “Diligently guard the Commands of YAHUAH your Elohim, and His Witnesses, and His Laws which He has commanded you.
18 “And you shall do what is right and good in the eyes of YAHUAH, that it might be well with you, and you shall go in and possess the good land of which YAHUAH swore to your fathers,
19 to drive out all your enemies from before you, as YAHUAH has spoken.
20 “When your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is the meaning of the Witnesses, and the Laws, and the Right-Rulings which YAHUAH our Elohim has commanded you?’
21 then you shall say to your son, ‘We were slaves of Pharaoh in Mitsrayim, and YAHUAH brought us out of Mitsrayim with a strong hand,
22 and YAHUAH sent signs and wonders, great and grievous, upon Mitsrayim, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes.
23 ‘And He brought us out from there, to bring us in, to give us the land of which He swore to our fathers.
24 ‘And YAHUAH commanded us to do all these Laws, to revere YAHUAH our Elohim, for our good always, to keep us alive, as it is today.
25 ‘And it is righteousness for us when we guard to do all this Command before YAHUAH our Elohim, as He has commanded us.
DEḆARIM (DEUTERONOMY) Chapter 6
11/22/25
37 And YAHUAH spoke to Mosheh, saying,
38 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and you shall say to them to make tsitsit on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue cord in the tsitsit of the corners.
39 “And it shall be to you for a tsitsit, and you shall see it, and shall remember all the Commands of YAHUAH and shall do them, and not search after your own heart and your own eyes after which you went whoring,
40 so that you remember, and shall do all My Commands, and be qodesh unto your Elohim.
41 “I am YAHUAH your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, to be your Elohim. I am YAHUAH your Elohim.”
BEMIḎBAR (Numbers)
Chapter 15:37-41
11/23/25

And again the children of Yisra’ĕl did evil in the eyes of YAHUAH, so YAHUAH gave them into the hand of the Pelishtites for forty years.
2 And there was a certain man from Tsor’ah, of the clan of the Danites, whose name was Manowaḥ. And his wife was barren and had not borne.
3 And a Messenger of YAHUAH appeared to the woman and said to her, “See now, you are barren and have not borne, but you shall conceive, and you shall bear a son.
4 “And now, please guard, and do not drink wine or strong drink, and do not eat anything unclean.
5 “For look, you are conceiving and bearing a son. And let no razor come upon his head, for the youth is a Nazirite to Elohim from the womb on. And he shall begin to save Yisra’ĕl out of the hand of the Pelishtites.”
6 And the woman came and spoke to her husband, saying, “A Man of Elohim came to me, and His appearance was like the appearance of a Messenger of Elohim, very awesome. But I did not ask Him where He was from, and He did not declare to me His Name.
7 “And He said to me, ‘See, you are conceiving and bearing a son. And now, drink no wine or strong drink, nor eat anything unclean, for the youth is a Nazirite to Elohim from the womb to the day of his death.’ ”
8 And Manowaḥ prayed to YAHUAH, and said, “O YAHUAH, please let the Man of Elohim whom You sent come to us again and teach us what to do for the youth who is to be born.”
9 And Elohim listened to the voice of Manowaḥ, and the Messenger of Elohim came to the woman again as she was sitting in the field, but Manowaḥ her husband was not with her.
10 And the woman ran hurriedly and informed her husband, and said to him, “See, He has appeared to me, the Man who came to me the other day!”
11 And Manowaḥ arose and went after his wife, and came to the Man, and he said to Him, “Are You the Man who spoke to this woman?” And He said, “I am.”
12 And Manowaḥ said, “Now let Your words come true! What is to be the rule for the youth’s life and his work?”
13 And the Messenger of YAHUAH said to Manowaḥ, “Let the woman guard all that I said to her.
14 “Let her not eat anything that comes from the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, or eat anything unclean. Let her guard all that which I have commanded her.”
15 And Manowaḥ said to the Messenger of YAHUAH, “Please let us detain You, and prepare a young goat for You.”
16 And the Messenger of YAHUAH said to Manowaḥ, “Though you detain Me, I do not eat your food. But if you offer a burnt offering, offer it to YAHUAH.” For Manowaḥ did not know He was a Messenger of YAHUAH.
17 Then Manowaḥ said to the Messenger of YAHUAH, “What is Your Name? When Your words come true, then we shall esteem You.”
18 And the Messenger of YAHUAH said to him, ‘Why do you ask My Name, since it is wondrous?”
19 And Manowaḥ took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it upon the rock to YAHUAH. And He did wondrously while Manowaḥ and his wife looked on.
20 And it came to be, as the flame went up toward the shamayim from the altar, that the Messenger of YAHUAH went up in the flame of the altar. And Manowaḥ and his wife were watching, and they fell on their faces to the ground.
21 And the Messenger of YAHUAH did not appear any more to Manowaḥ and his wife. Then Manowaḥ knew that He was a Messenger of YAHUAH.
22 And Manowaḥ said to his wife, “We shall certainly die, because we have seen Elohim!”
23 But his wife said to him, “If YAHUAH had been pleased to put us to death, He would not have accepted a burnt offering and a grain offering from our hands, nor would He have shown us all this, nor would He have let us hear the like of this!”
24 So the woman bore a son and called his name Shimshon. And the child grew, and YAHUAH baraḵ him.
25 And the Ruaḥ of YAHUAH began to move him at Maḥanĕh Dan, between Tsor’ah and Eshta’ol.
SHOPHETIM (Judges)
Chapter 13
11/24/25

And Shimshon went down to Timnah, and saw a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Pelishtites.
2 And he went up and informed his father and mother, saying, “I have seen a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Pelishtites. And now, take her for me for a wife.”
3 But his father and mother said to him, “Is there no woman among the daughters of your brothers, or among all my people, that you should take a wife from the uncircumcised Pelishtites?” And Shimshon said to his father, “Take her for me, for she is pleasing in my eyes.”
4 However, his father and mother did not know that it was of YAHUAH, that He was seeking an occasion to move against the Pelishtites. For at that time the Pelishtites were ruling over Yisra’ĕl.
5 Then Shimshon went down to Timnah with his father and mother, and came to the vineyards of Timnah, and see, a young lion came roaring at him.
6 And the Ruaḥ of YAHUAH came mightily upon him, and he tore it apart as the tearing apart of a young goat, with naught in his hand. But he did not make known to his father or his mother what he had done.
7 And he went down and spoke to the woman, and she pleased Shimshon well.
8 And when he returned later to take her, he turned aside to look at the carcass of the lion, and saw a swarm of bees and honey in the carcass of the lion.
9 And he took some of it in his hands and went along, eating. And he came to his father and mother, and gave them, and they ate. But he did not make known to them that he took the honey out of the carcass of the lion.
10 So his father went down to the woman. And Shimshon gave a feast there, for young men used to do so.
11 And it came to be, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.
12 And Shimshon said to them, “Please let me put forth a riddle to you. If you clearly solve and explain it to me within the seven days of the feast, then I shall give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of garments.
13 “But if you are unable to explain it to me, then you shall give me thirty linen shirts and thirty changes of garments.” And they said to him, “Put forth your riddle and let us hear it.”
14 And he said to them, “Out of the eater came forth food, and out of the strong came forth sweetness.” And for three days they were unable to explain the riddle.
15 And it came to be on the seventh day that they said to Shimshon’s wife, “Entice your husband to explain the riddle to us, or else we burn you and your father’s house with fire. Have you invited us in order to take what is ours? Is it not?”
16 And Shimshon’s wife wept before him, and said, “You only hate me, and do not love me! You have put forth a riddle to the sons of my people, but you have not explained it to me.” And he said to her, “Look, I have not explained it to my father or my mother, and should I explain it to you?”
17 And she had wept before him the seven days while their feast lasted. And it came to be on the seventh day that he informed her, because she pressed him so much. She then explained the riddle to the sons of her people.
18 And the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down, “What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?” And he said to them, “If you had not ploughed with my heifer, you would not have solved my riddle!”
19 Then the Ruaḥ of YAHUAH came upon him mightily, and he went down to Ashqelon and smote thirty of their men, stripped them, and gave the changes of garments to those who had explained the riddle. And his displeasure burned, and he went back up to his father’s house.
20 And Shimshon’s wife was given to his companion, who had been his friend.
SHOPHETIM (Judges)
Chapter 14
11/25/25

And it came to be, after some time, in the days of wheat harvest, that Shimshon visited his wife with a young goat. And he said, “Let me go in to my wife, into her room.” But her father would not permit him to go in.
2 And her father said, “Indeed, I thought that you hated her intensely; so I gave her to your companion. Is not her younger sister better than she? Please, take her instead.”
3 And Shimshon said to them, “This time I am blameless regarding the Pelishtites if I do evil to them!”
4 And Shimshon went and caught three hundred foxes, and took torches, and turned them tail to tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails,
5 and lit the torches on fire, and sent them out into the standing grain of the Pelishtites, and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, even the vineyards and olive trees.
6 And the Pelishtites said, “Who did this?” And they answered, “Shimshon, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he took away his wife and gave her to his companion.” Then the Pelishtites went up and burned her and her father with fire.
7 And Shimshon said to them, “Though you do this, yet I shall take revenge on you, and after that I cease.”
8 And he smote them hip and thigh, a great smiting, and went down and dwelt in the cleft of the rock of Ĕytam.
9 The Pelishtites then went up and encamped in Yahuḏah, and spread out against Leḥi.
10 And the men of Yahuḏah said, “Why have you come up against us?” And they answered, “We have come up to bind Shimshon, to do to him as he has done to us.”
11 Then three thousand men of Yahuḏah went down to the cleft of the rock of Ĕytam and said to Shimshon, “Do you not know that the Pelishtites are rulers over us? Why have you done this to us?” And he said to them, “As they did to me, so I did to them.”
12 And they said to him, “We have come down to bind you, to give you into the hand of the Pelishtites.” And Shimshon said to them, “Swear to me not to fall on me yourselves.”
13 And they spoke to him, saying, “No, but we are certainly going to bind you, and shall give you into their hand but certainly not kill you.” So they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock.
14 When he came to Leḥi, the Pelishtites came shouting to meet him. And the Ruaḥ of YAHUAH came mightily upon him. And the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds broke loose from his hands.
15 And he found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, and put out his hand and took it, and smote a thousand men with it.
16 And Shimshon said, “With the jawbone of a donkey, one heap, two heaps, with the jawbone of a donkey I have smitten a thousand men!”
17 And it came to be, when he had ended speaking, that he threw the jawbone from his hand, and called that place Ramath Leḥi.
18 And he became very thirsty, and cried out to YAHUAH and said, “You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant. And now, am I to die of thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?”
19 And Elohim split the hollow place that is in Leḥi, and water came out, and he drank. And his spirit came back, and he revived. So he called its name Ĕyn ha’Qorĕ, which is in Leḥi to his day.
20 And he ruled Yisra’ĕl twenty years in the days of the Pelishtites.
SHOPHETIM (Judges)
Chapter 15
11/26/25

And Shimshon went to Azzah and saw a woman there, a whore, and went in to her -
2 the Azzathites saying, “Shimshon has come here!” So they went round and lay in wait for him all night at the gate of the city, and kept silent all night, saying, “In the morning, when it is daylight, then we shall kill him.”
3 Now Shimshon lay until midnight, and rose at midnight, and took hold of the doors of the gate of the city and the two gateposts, and pulled them up with the bar, put them on his shoulders, and took them to the top of the hill that faces Ḥeḇron.
4 And it came to be afterward that he loved a woman in the wadi Sorĕq, whose name was Delilah.
5 And the princes of the Pelishtites came up to her and said to her, “Entice him, and find out where his great strength lies, and see by what we might overpower him, then we shall bind him to humble him. And let us give you, each one of us, eleven hundred pieces of silver.”
6 And Delilah said to Shimshon, “Please reveal to me where your great strength lies, and by what you might be bound, to humble you.”
7 And Shimshon said to her, “If they bind me with seven fresh cords, not yet dried, then I shall be weak, and be like any other man.”
8 The princes of the Pelishtites then brought her seven fresh cords, not yet dried, and she bound him with them,
9 while those lying in wait stayed with her in the room. And she said to him, “The Pelishtites are upon you, Shimshon!” But he broke the cords as a strand of yarn breaks when it touches fire. So the secret of his strength remained unknown.
10 And Delilah said to Shimshon, “Look, you have mocked me and spoken lies to me. Now, please reveal to me by what you might be bound.”
11 And he said to her, “If they bind me tightly with new ropes that have never been used, then I shall be weak, and be like any other man.”
12 And Delilah took new ropes and bound him with them, and said to him, “The Pelishtites are upon you, Shimshon!” And those lying in wait were sitting in the inner room. But he broke them off his arms like a thread.
13 So Delilah said to Shimshon, “Until now you have mocked me and spoken lies to me, reveal to me how you might be bound.” And he said to her, “If you weave the seven locks of my head with the web.”
14 Then she fastened it with a pin, and said to him, “The Pelishtites are upon you, Shimshon!” But he awoke from his sleep, and pulled out the pin of the loom and the web.
15 Then she said to him, “How do you say, ‘I love you,’ when your heart is not with me? You have mocked me these three times, and have not made known to me where your great strength lies.”
16 And it came to be, when she pressed him daily with her words and urged him, so that his being was wearied to death,
17 that he made known to her all his heart, and said to her, “No razor has ever come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to Elohim from my mother’s womb. If I were shaven, then my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man.”
18 And Delilah saw that he had made known to her all his heart, and she sent and called for the princes of the Pelishtites, saying, “Come up once more, for he has made known to me all his heart.” So the princes of the Pelishtites came up to her and brought the silver in their hand.
19 And she made him sleep on her knees, and called for a man and shaved off the seven locks of his head. Thus she began to humble him, and his strength left him.
20 And she said, “The Pelishtites are upon you, Shimshon!” And he awoke from his sleep, and said, “Let me go out as before, at other times, and shake myself loose!” But he did not know that YAHUAH had turned aside from him.
21 So the Pelishtites took him and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Azzah, and bound him with bronze shackles. And he became a grinder in the prison.
22 But the hair of his head began to grow again after it had been shaven.
23 And the princes of the Pelishtites gathered to offer a great slaughtering to Daḡon their mighty one, and to rejoice. And they said, “Our mighty one has given Shimshon our enemy into our hands!”
24 And the people saw him, and praised their mighty one, for they said, “Our mighty one has given into our hands our enemy, the destroyer of our land, who slew many of us.”
25 And it came to be, when their hearts were glad, that they said, “Call for Shimshon, and let him entertain us.” So they called for Shimshon from the prison, and he entertained them. And they made him stand between the columns.
26 And Shimshon said to the young man who held him by the hand, “Let me alone and let me feel the columns which support the house, so that I lean on them.”
27 And the house was filled with men and women. And all the princes of the Pelishtites were there. And about three thousand men and women were on the roof who watched Shimshon entertaining.
28 And Shimshon called to YAHUAH, saying, “O Aḏonai YAHUAH, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, only this time, O Elohim, and let me avenge myself on the Pelishtites with vengeance for my two eyes!”
29 And Shimshon took hold of the two middle columns which supported the house, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left.
30 And Shimshon said, “Let me die with the Pelishtites!” And he bowed himself mightily, and the house fell on the princes and all the people in it. And the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life.
31 And his brothers and all his father’s household came down and took him, and brought him up and buried him between Tsor’ah and Eshta’ol in the tomb of his father Manowaḥ. And he had ruled Yisra’ĕl twenty years.
SHOPHETIM (Judges)
Chapter 16
11/27/25
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Who abides under the shadow of Ĕl Shaddai,
2 He is saying of YAHUAH, “My refuge and my stronghold, My Elohim, in whom I trust!”
3 For He delivers you from the snare of a trapper, From the destructive pestilence.
4 He covers you with His feathers, And under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour.
5 You are not afraid of the dread by night, Of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Of destruction that ravages at midday.
7 A thousand fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it does not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes you look on, And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made YAHUAH - My refuge, the Most High - your dwelling place,
10 No evil befalls you, And a plague does not come near your tent;
11 For He commands His messengers concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.
12 They bear you up in their hands, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You tread upon lion and cobra, Young lion and serpent you trample underfoot.
14 “Because he clings to Me in love, Therefore I deliver him; I exalt him, Because he has known My Name.
15 “When he calls on Me, I answer him; I am with him in distress; I deliver him and esteem him.
16 “With long life I satisfy him, And show him My deliverance.”
TEHILLIM (Psalm) 91
11/28/25
“And I saw written on them that generation upon generation shall transgress, till a generation of righteousness arises, and transgression is destroyed and sin passes away from the earth, and all manner of good comes upon it.
2 And now, my son, go and make known to your son Lemeḵ that this son, which has been born, is in truth his son, and that is no lie.”
3 And when Methushelaḥ had heard the words of his father Ḥanoḵ - for he had shown to him all matters in secret, he returned and showed to him and called the name of that son Noaḥ; for he will comfort the earth after all the destruction.
ḤANOḴ (Enoch) 107
11/29/25
This is the Book of the Commands of Elohim, and the Torah that endures forever; All those who guard it shall attain ḥai; But those who leave it shall die.
2 Turn, O Ya’aqoḇ, and take hold of it; Walk in the presence of its light, that you may be illuminated.
3 Do not give your esteem to another, Nor those which bring you profit to a foreign nation.
4 O Yisra’ĕl, baruḵ are we; For those who are pleasing to Elohim have been made known to us!
5 Take courage my people, the remembrance of Yisra’ĕl.
6 You were sold to the nations, not for destruction; But because you moved Elohim to wrath, you were delivered unto your enemies.
7 For you provoked He who made you by offering to demons, And not to Elohim.
8 You have forgotten the everlasting Elohim, who raised you up; And you have grieved Yerushalayim, who nursed you.
9 For when she saw the wrath of Elohim coming upon you, she said, “Hear, O you who dwell around Tsiyon, Elohim has brought upon me great mourning;
10 “For I saw the captivity of my sons and daughters, Which the Everlasting brought upon them.
11 “With joy I nourished them; But sent them away with weeping and mourning.
12 “Let no man rejoice over me, a widow, and forsaken by many, Who for the sins of my children am left laid waste; Because they departed from the Torah of Elohim.
13 “They did not know His Torot, nor walk in the Way of His Commands, Nor trod in the paths of discipline in His righteousness.
14 “Let those who dwell around Tsiyon come, And remember the captivity of my sons and daughters, Which the Everlasting has brought upon them.
15 “For He has brought a nation upon them from afar, A shameless nation, and of a foreign language, Who neither revered old men, nor shown compassion to children.
16 “These have carried away the dearly beloved children of the widow, And left she who was alone lying waste without daughters.
17 “But how shall I help you?
18 “For He who brought these plagues upon you delivers you from the hands of your enemies.
19 “Go your way, O my children, go your way; For I am left laid waste!
20 “I have put off the garments of peace, And put upon myself the sackcloth of my prayer. I cry to the Everlasting in my days.
21 “Be of good cheer O my children, Cry unto YAHUAH, and He shall deliver you from the strength and hand of your enemies.
22 “For my expectancy is in the Everlasting, that He shall save you; And joy has come to me from the Qadosh One, Because of the kindness which shall soon come to you from the Everlasting, our Saviour.
23 “For I sent you out with mourning and weeping, But Elohim shall give you to me again with joy and gladness forever.
24 “For as the neighbours of Tsiyon have seen your captivity: So shall they soon see your salvation from our Elohim, Which shall come upon you with great esteem, and brightness of the Everlasting.
25 “My children, patiently endure the wrath that has come upon you from Elohim; For your enemy has persecuted you; But shortly you shall see his destruction, And shall tread upon his neck.
26 “My delicate ones have gone rough ways, And were taken away as a flock caught by the enemy.
27 “Be of good comfort, O my children, and cry unto Elohim; For you shall be remembered by He who brought these upon you.
28 “For as it was your heart to go astray from Elohim; So, being returned, seek Him ten times more.
29 “For He who has brought these plagues upon you, Brings you everlasting joy with your deliverance.”
30 Take courage, O Yerushalayim; For He who gave you that name shall comfort you.
31 Those who afflicted you, and rejoiced at your fall are wretched.
32 The cities that your children served are wretched. She who received your sons is wretched.
33 For as she rejoiced at your ruin, and was glad of your fall; So she shall be grieved when she is laid waste.
34 For I shall take away the rejoicing of her great crowd, And her pride shall be turned into mourning.
35 For long lasting fire shall come upon her from the Everlasting; And she shall be a dwelling of demons for a long time.
36 O Yerushalayim, look around you toward the East, And see the joy that comes to you from Elohim.
37 See, your sons come, whom you sent away, They come gathered together from the east to the west by the word of the Qadosh One, Rejoicing in the esteem of Elohim.

And it came to be, when Shemu’ĕl was old, that he made his sons rulers over Yisra’ĕl.
2 And the name of his first-born was Yo’ĕl, and the name of his second, Aḇiyah, rulers in Be’ĕrsheḇa.
3 But his sons did not walk in his ways, and turned aside after own gain, and took bribes, and twisted right-ruling.
4 And all the elders of Yisra’ĕl gathered together and came to Shemu’ĕl at Ramah,
5 and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now appoint for us a sovereign to rule us like all the nations.”
6 But the word was evil in the eyes of Shemu’ĕl when they said, “Give us a sovereign to rule us.” So Shemu’ĕl prayed to YAHUAH.
7 And YAHUAH said to Shemu’ĕl, “Listen to the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from reigning over them.
8 “According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Mitsrayim, even to this day - forsaking Me and serving other mighty ones - so they are doing to you too.
9 “And now, listen to their voice, but you shall certainly warn them, and shall make known to them the ruling of the sovereign who reigns over them.”
10 And Shemu’ĕl spoke all the words of YAHUAH to the people who asked him for a sovereign,
11 and said, “This is the ruling of the sovereign who reigns over you: He shall take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and they shall run before his chariots,
12 and appoint commanders over his thousands and commanders over his fifties, or to plough his ground and reap his harvest, or to make his weapons, and equipment for his chariots.
13 “And your daughters he is going to take to be perfumers, and cooks, and bakers.
14 “And the best of your fields, and your vineyards, and your olive trees he is going to take and give them to his servants.
15 “And a tenth of your grain and your vintage he is going to take and give it to his officers and servants.
16 “And your male servants and your female servants and your best young men and your donkeys he is going to take and use for his own work.
17 “A tenth of your sheep he is going to take, and you are to be his servants.
18 “And you shall cry out in that day because of your sovereign whom you have chosen for yourselves, but YAHUAH is not going to answer you in that day.”
19 However, the people refused to listen to the voice of Shemu’ĕl, and said, “No, but let a sovereign be over us.
20 Then we shall be, we also, like all the nations, and our sovereign shall rule us and go out before us and fight our battles.”
21 And Shemu’ĕl heard all the words of the people, and he repeated them in the hearing of YAHUAH.
22 And YAHUAH said to Shemu’ĕl, “Listen to their voice, and make them a sovereign.” And Shemu’ĕl said to the men of Yisra’ĕl, “Each of you go to his city.”
SHEMU’ĔL 1 (1st Samuel) 8
12/01/25
Hear the word of YAHUAH, you rulers of Seḏom; give ear to the Torah of our Elohim, you people of Amorah!
11 “Of what use to Me are your many slaughterings?” declares YAHUAH. “I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs or goats.
12 “When you come to appear before Me, who has required this from your hand, to trample My courtyards?
13 “Stop bringing futile offerings, incense, it is an abomination to Me. New Moons, Shabbathoth, the calling of meetings - I am unable to bear unrighteousness and assembly.
14 “My being hates your new moons and your appointed times, they are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.
15 “And when you spread out your hands, I hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I do not hear. Your hands have become filled with blood.
16 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Stop doing evil!
17 “Learn to do good! Seek Right-Ruling, reprove the oppressor, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” says YAHUAH. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 “If you submit and obey, you shall eat the good of the land;
20 but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword,” for the mouth of YAHUAH has spoken.
YESHAYAHU (Isaiah) 1:10-20
12/02/25
And in the latter days it shall be that the mountain of the House of YAHUAH is established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills. And peoples shall flow to it.
2 And many nations shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHUAH, to the House of the Elohim of Ya’aqoḇ, and let Him teach us His Ways, and let us walk in His paths. For out of Tsiyon comes forth the Torah, and the Word of YAHUAH from Yerushalayim.”
3 And He shall judge among many peoples, and reprove strong nations afar off. They shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks - nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither teach battle any more.
4 But each one shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, with no one to make them afraid, for the mouth of YAHUAH of hosts has spoken.
5 For all the peoples walk, each one in the name of his mighty one, but we walk in the Name of YAHUAH our Elohim forever and ever. 6 “In that day,” declares YAHUAH, “I gather the lame, and I bring together the outcast and those whom I have afflicted. 7 “And I shall make the lame a remnant, and the outcast a strong nation. And YAHUAH shall reign over them in Mount Tsiyon, from now on and forever.
8 “And you, O tower of the flock, stronghold of the daughter of Tsiyon, it shall come to you, the former rule shall come, the reign of the daughter of Yerushalayim.”
9 Now why do you cry aloud? Is there no sovereign in you? Has your counsellor perished? For pain has gripped you like a woman in labour.
10 Be in pain, and deliver, O daughter of Tsiyon, like a woman in labour. For now you are to leave the city, and you shall dwell in the field. And you shall go to Baḇel, there you shall be delivered, there YAHUAH shall redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
11 And now, many gentiles shall be gathered against you, who are saying, “Let her be defiled, and let our eyes look upon Tsiyon!”
12 But they do not know the thoughts of YAHUAH, nor do they understand His counsel. For He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing-floor.
13 “Arise and thresh, O daughter of Tsiyon, for I make your horn iron and your hooves bronze. And you shall beat many peoples into pieces, and I shall seclude their gain to YAHUAH, and their wealth to the Aḏon of all the earth.”
MIḴAH (Micah) Chapter 4
12/03/25
What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of Ḥai:
2 And the Ḥai was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and announce to you that everlasting Ḥai which was with the Father and was manifested to us.
3 We announce to you what we have seen and heard, so that you too might have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Bĕn Yahusha ha’Mashiaḥ.
4 And we write this to you in order that your joy might be complete.
5 And this is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that Elohim is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and are not doing the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Yahusha ha’Mashiaḥ His Bĕn cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we are misleading ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is trustworthy and righteous to forgive us the sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.
YOḤANAN 1 (1st John) Chapter 1
12/04/25
And it came to be, after Alexandros son of Philippos, the Makedonian, who came out of the land of Kittim, had smitten Dareyawesh sovereign of Paras and Maḏai, that he reigned in his place, the first over Yawan.
2 And he fought many battles, and won many strongholds, and slew the sovereigns of the earth.
3 And he went through to the ends of the earth, and took spoils from many nations, so that the earth was at rest before him; therefore he was exalted and his heart was lifted up.
4 And he gathered a very mighty army and ruled over countries, and nations, and sovereigns, who became tributary to him.
5 And after these events he fell sick, and perceived that he would die.
6 So he called his servants, who were honourable, and had been brought up with him from his youth, and divided his reign among them, while he was still alive.
7 So Alexandros reigned twelve years, and then he died.
8 And his servants ruled, each one in his place.
9 And after his death they all put crowns upon themselves, as did their sons after them many years, and evils were multiplied in the earth.
10 And a wicked root came out from them: Antioḵos also called Epiphanĕs, son of Antioḵos the sovereign, who had been a hostage at Rome, and he reigned in the hundred and thirty-seventh year of the reign of the Yawanites.
11 In those days wicked men went out of Yisra’ĕl, who persuaded many saying, “Let us go and make a covenant with the gentiles that are round about us, for since we departed from them we have had much sorrow.”
12 So this plan was well-pleasing to them.
13 Then some of the people were so bold in this, that they went to the sovereign, who gave them authority to do according to the laws of the gentiles.
14 So they built a place of training at Yerushalayim according to the customs of the gentiles;
15 and made themselves uncircumcised, and forsook qodesh Covenant, and joined themselves to the gentiles, and were sold to do evil.
16 Now when the reign was established before Antioḵos, he thought to reign over Mitsrayim that he might have the rule of two reigns.
17 Therefore he entered into Mitsrayim with a great multitude; with chariots, and elephants, and horsemen, and a great fleet,
18 and fought against Ptolemaeus, sovereign of Mitsrayim. But Ptolemaeus was afraid of him, and fled, and many were wounded and slain.
19 Therefore they took the fortified cities in the land of Mitsrayim and he took the spoils from there.
20 And after Antioḵos had smitten Mitsrayim, he returned again in the hundred and forty-third year, and went up against Yisra’ĕl and Yerushalayim with a great multitude.
MAQQAḆIM 1 (1st MACCABEES) Chapter 1:1-20
12/05/25
21 And he entered proudly into the Miqdash, and took away the golden altar, and the lampstand of light, and all its utensils,
22 and the table of the showbread, and the bowls for pouring, and the vessels, and the gold fire holders, and the veil, and the crown, and the golden ornaments that were before Hĕyḵal, all which he pulled off.
23 He also took the silver and the gold, and the precious vessels. He also took the hidden treasures which he found.
24 And when he had taken all away, he went to his own land, having made a great slaughter, and spoken very proudly.
25 Therefore there was a great mourning in Yisra’ĕl, in every place where they were,
26 so that the rulers and elders mourned, the maidens and young men were weakened, and the pleasantness of women was changed.
27 Every bridegroom lamented, and she that sat in the bridal chamber was in grief.
28 The land also was moved for the inhabitants, and all the house of Ya’aqoḇ was covered with shame.
29 And after a full two years passed, the sovereign sent his chief tax collector to the cities of Yahuḏah, who came to Yerushalayim with a great multitude,
30 and spoke peaceable words to them. But all was deceit, for when they had accepted him, he fell suddenly upon the city, and smote it greatly, and destroyed many people of Yisra’ĕl.
31 And when he had taken the spoils of the city, he lit it on fire, and pulled down the houses and its walls all around.
32 But they took the women and children captive, and took possession of the cattle.
33 Then they built the city of Dawiḏ with a great and strong wall, and with mighty towers, and made it a stronghold for themselves.
34 And they put a sinful nation in it - wicked men - and strengthened themselves within.
35 They also stored it with weapons and food, and when they had gathered together the spoils of Yerushalayim, they laid them up there. And so they became a great snare,
36 for it was a place to lie in wait against the Miqdash, and an evil adversary to Yisra’ĕl.
37 Thus they shed innocent blood on every side of the Miqdash, and defiled it,
38 so that the inhabitants of Yerushalayim fled because of them. Therefore the city was made a dwelling of foreigners, and became foreign to those that were born in her; and her own children left her.
39 Her Miqdash was laid waste like a wilderness; her Feasts were turned into mourning; her Shabbathoth into reproach; her honour into contempt.
40 As had been her esteem, so was her dishonour increased, and her excellency was turned into mourning.
MAQQAḆIM 1 (1st MACCABEES) Chapter 1:21-40
12/06/25
41 And sovereign Antioḵos wrote to his whole reign, that all should be one people,
42 and everyone should leave his laws. So all the gentiles agreed according to the command of the sovereign.
43 Even many of the Yisra’ĕlites also agreed to his belief, and slaughtered to idols, and profaned the Shabbath.
44 For the sovereign had sent letters by messengers to Yerushalayim and the cities of Yahuḏah that they should follow the foreign laws of the land,
45 and forbid burnt offerings, and slaughtering, and drink offerings, in the Hĕyḵal; and that they should profane the Shabbathoth and Festival days,
46 and pollute the Miqdash and qodesh people,
47 put up altars, and Ashĕrim, and temples of idols, and offer pig’s flesh, and unclean beasts.
48 That they should also leave their children uncircumcised, and make their beings abominable with all manner of uncleanness and abomination,
49 so that they might forget the Torah, and change all the Laws.
50 And whoever would not do according to the command of the sovereign, he said, “He should die.”
51 He wrote to his whole reign in the same way, and appointed overseers over all the people, commanding the cities of Yahuḏah to offer, city by city.
52 Then many of the people were gathered to them, that is, every one that forsook the Law; and so they committed evils in the land,
53 and drove the Yisra’ĕlites into hiding places, even wherever they could flee for safety.
54 Now on the fifteenth day of the month Kislĕw, in the hundred and forty-fifth year, they put up the abomination of desolation upon the altar, and built idol altars throughout the cities of Yahuḏah on every side,
55 and burned incense at the doors of their houses, and in the streets.
56 And when they had torn in pieces the Books of the Law which they found, they burned them with fire.
57 And whoever was found with any of the Book of the Covenant, or if any adhered to the Law, the sovereign’s command was that they should put him to death.
58 Thus they did by their authority to the Yisra’ĕlites every month, to as many as were found in the cities.
59 Now on the twenty-fifth day of the month they slaughtered on the idol altar, which was upon the altar of Elohim,
60 at which time, according to the command they put to death some women that had allowed their children to be circumcised.
61 And they hanged the infants by their necks, and ransacked their houses, and slew those that had circumcised them.
62 However, many in Yisra’ĕl were fully resolved and confirmed in themselves not to eat any unclean matter.
63 Therefore rather to die, that they might not be defiled with food, and that they might not profane the qodesh Covenant; so then they died.
64 And very great wrath came to be upon Yisra’ĕl.
MAQQAḆIM 1 (1st MACCABEES) Chapter 1:41-64
12/07/25
And he answered me, saying, “The Most High has made this world for many, but the world to come for few.
2 “I shall tell you a parable, Ezra; just as when you ask the earth, it shall say to you, that it gives much clay from which earthen vessels are made, but little dust from which gold comes; even so is the course of this present world.
3 “There are many created, but few shall be saved.”
4 So I answered and said, “O my being, swallow down understanding, and devour wisdom.
5 “For you have come here against your desire, and against it you depart; for you no longer have but a short time to live.
6 “O YAHUAH, if You would allow Your servant, that we may pray before You, and You give us a seed to our heart, and tend to our understanding, that fruit may come from it; for how shall each man live who is corrupt, who bears the likeness of man?
7 “For You are alone, and we are all one workmanship of Your hands, as You have said.
8 “For when the body is formed in the mother’s womb, and You give it members, Your creation is preserved in fire and water, and nine months Your workmanship endures Your creation which is created in her.
9 “But that which keeps and is kept shall both be preserved; and when the time comes, the womb delivers up that which grew in it.
10 “For You have commanded from the members of the body, that is, out of the breasts, milk to be given, which is the fruit of the breasts,
11 so that what has been formed may be nourished for a time, till You lead it to Your kindness.
12 “You brought it up with Your righteousness, and instructed it in Your Law, and instructed it with Your Right-Ruling.
13 “And You shall put it to death as Your creation, and revive it as Your work.
14 “If therefore You destroy that which was formed with such great labour, it is easy to be appointed by Your command, that that which was made might be preserved.
15 “Now therefore, YAHUAH, I shall speak; regarding mankind in general whom You know best; and regarding Your people, for whose sake I am grieved;
16 and for Your inheritance, for whose cause I mourn; and for Yisra’ĕl, for whom I am burdened; and for Ya’aqoḇ, for whose sake I am troubled.
17 “Therefore I shall begin to pray before You for myself and for them; for I see the fall of we who dwell in the land,
18 and I have heard the swiftness of the judgment to come.
19 “Therefore hear my voice, and understand my words, and I shall speak before You.” This is the beginning of the words of Ezra, before he was taken up: and I said,
20 “O YAHUAH, You who dwells forever, who sees from above that which is in the shamayim and in the air;
21 whose throne is beyond measure; whose esteem cannot be contained; before whom the hosts of messengers stand with trembling;
22 whose deeds are accompanied by wind and fire; whose Word is true, and whose words are forever; whose Command is strong, and Law reverent;
23 whose look dries up the depths, and whose wrath makes the mountains melt away; which the truth witnesses.
24 “O hear the prayer of Your servant, and listen to the petition of Your creation.
25 “For while I live I shall speak, and so long as I have understanding I shall answer.
26 “O do not look upon the sins of Your people; but on those who serve You in truth.
27 “Do not heed the wicked devices of the gentiles, but the desire of those who guard Your Witnesses in afflictions.
28 “Do not think upon those who have walked falsely before You; but remember those who have known Your reverence according to Your desire.
29 “Let it not be Your desire to destroy those who have lived like beasts; but to look upon those who have clearly taught Your Law.
30 “Do not be wroth with those who are deemed worse than beasts; but love those who always put their trust in Your righteousness and esteem.
31 “For we and our fathers languish of such sicknesses; but because of we sinners You shall be called kind.
32 “For if You have a desire to show favour upon us, You shall be called kind, namely by us, who have no works of righteousness.
33 “For the righteous, who have many good works laid up with You, shall receive reward for their own deeds.
34 “For what is mankind, that You should take displeasure in him; or what is a corruptible generation, that You should be so bitter toward it?
35 “For in truth there is no man among them who is born, except he who has done wickedly; and among the trustworthy there is none who has not done wrong.
2 ESDRAS (2 EZRA) CHAPTER 8 1-35
12/08/25
“And it shall be, if you diligently obey the voice of YAHUAH your Elohim, to guard to do all His Commands which I command you today, that YAHUAH your Elohim shall make you high above all nations of the earth.
2 “And all these bireḵoth shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of YAHUAH your Elohim:
3 “Baruḵ are you in the city, and baruḵ are you in the field.
4 “Baruḵ is the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your livestock - the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
5 “Baruḵ is your basket and your kneading bowl.
6 “Baruḵ are you when you come in, and baruḵ are you when you go out.
7 “YAHUAH causes your enemies who rise against you to be smitten before your face - they come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
8 “YAHUAH commands the beraḵah on you in your storehouses and in all to which you put your hand, and shall baraḵ you in the land which YAHUAH your Elohim is giving you.
9 “YAHUAH establishes you as a qodesh people to Himself, as He has sworn to you, if you guard the Commands of YAHUAH your Elohim and walk in His Ways.
10 “And all peoples of the earth shall see that the Name of YAHUAH is called upon you, and they shall be afraid of you.
11 “And YAHUAH shall make you to have plenty of what is good, in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land of which YAHUAH swore to your fathers to give you.
12 “YAHUAH opens to you His good treasure, the shamayim, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to baraḵ all the work of your hand. And you shall lend to many nations, but you do not borrow.
13 “And YAHUAH shall make you the head and not the tail. And you shall be only on top, and not be beneath, if you obey the Commands of YAHUAH your Elohim, which I command you today, to guard and do.
14 “And do not turn aside from any of the Words which I am commanding you today, right or left, to go after other mighty ones to serve them.
15 “And it shall be, if you do not obey the voice of YAHUAH your Elohim, to guard to do all His Commands and His Laws which I command you today, that all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you:
16 “Cursed are you in the city, and cursed are you in the field.
17 “Cursed is your basket and your kneading bowl.
18 “Cursed is the fruit of your body and the fruit of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
19 “Cursed are you when you come in, and cursed are you when you go out.
20 “YAHUAH sends on you the curse, the confusion, and the rebuke in all that you put your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the evil of your doings by which you have forsaken Me.
21 “YAHUAH makes the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from the land which you are going to possess.
22 “YAHUAH smites you with wasting disease, and with inflammation, and with burning, and with extreme heat, and with the sword, and with blight, and with mildew. And they shall pursue you until you perish.
23 “And your shamayim which are over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you iron.
24 “YAHUAH makes the rain of your land powder and dust; from the shamayim it comes down on you until you are destroyed.
25 “YAHUAH causes you to be defeated before your enemies - you go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them. And you shall become a horror to all the reigns of the earth.
26 “And your carcasses shall be food for all the birds of the shamayim and the beasts of the earth, with no one to frighten them away.
27 “YAHUAH shall smite you with the boils of Mitsrayim, with tumours, with the scab, and with the itch, from which you are unable to be healed.
28 “YAHUAH shall smite you with madness and blindness and bewilderment of heart.
29 “And you shall be groping at noon, as a blind man gropes in darkness, and not prosper in your ways. And you shall be only oppressed and plundered all the days, with no one to save you.
30 “You become engaged to a wife, but another man lies with her. You build a house, but do not dwell in it. You plant a vineyard, but do not use its fruit.
31 “Your ox is slaughtered before your eyes, but you do not eat of it. Your donkey is violently taken from before you, and it is not given back to you. Your sheep are given to your enemies, with no one to save them.
32 “Your sons and your daughters are given to another people, and your eyes look and fail for them all day long, and your hand powerless.
33 “A people whom you have not known eat the fruit of your land and all your labours. And you shall be only oppressed and crushed all the days.
34 “And you shall be maddened because of the sight which your eyes see.
35 “YAHUAH smites you in the knees and on the legs with evil boils of which you are unable to be healed, and from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.
36 “YAHUAH brings you and the sovereign whom you appoint over you to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other mighty ones, wood and stone.
37 “Thus you shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a mockery among all the peoples to which YAHUAH drives you.
38 “You take much seed out into the field but gather little in, for the locust consumes it.
39 “You plant vineyards, and shall labour, but you neither drink of the wine nor gather, for the worm eats it.
40 “You have olive trees in all your border, but do not anoint with oil, for your olives drop off.
41 “You bring forth sons and daughters, but they are not with you, for they go into captivity.
42 “Locusts possess all your trees and the fruit of your ground.
43 “The sojourner who is among you rises higher and higher above you, but you come down lower and lower.
44 “He lends to you, but you do not lend to him. He is the head, and you are the tail.
45 “And all these curses shall come upon you, and they shall pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of YAHUAH your Elohim, to guard His Commands and His Laws which He commanded you.
46 “And they shall be upon you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed, forever,
47 because you did not serve YAHUAH your Elohim with joy and gladness of heart for all the plenty.
48 “You shall serve your enemies whom YAHUAH sends against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in need of all. And he shall put a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you.
49 “YAHUAH brings a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies, a nation whose language you shall not understand,
50 a fierce-looking nation, which shows no regard for the elderly nor show favour to the young,
51 and they shall eat the fruit of your livestock and the fruit of your land, until you are destroyed. They leave you no grain, nor new wine, nor oil, nor the increase of your cattle or the offspring of your flocks, until they have destroyed you.
52 “And they shall besiege you at all your gates till your high and fenced walls, in which you are trusting, come down in all your land. And they shall besiege you at all your gates in all your land which YAHUAH your Elohim has given you.
53 “And you shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and your daughters whom YAHUAH your Elohim has given you, in the siege and distress in which your enemies distress you.
54 “The man among you who is tender, and who is very delicate, his eye is evil against his brother, against the wife of his bosom, and against the rest of his children whom he leaves behind,
55 against giving any of them the flesh of his children that he eats, because it is all that has been left to him in the siege and distress with which your enemy distresses you in all your gates.
56 “The tender and the delicate woman among you, who have not tried to put the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and tenderness, her eye is evil against the husband of her bosom, and against her son, and against her daughter,
57 and against her seed which comes out from between her legs, and her children whom she bears, for she eats them in secret for lack of all, in the siege and distress with which your enemy distresses you in all your gates.
58 “If you do not guard to do all the Words of this Torah that are written in this Book, to revere this esteemed and awesome Name, YAHUAH your Elohim,
59 then YAHUAH shall bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues, great and lasting plagues, and grievous and lasting sicknesses.
60 “And He shall bring back on you all the diseases of Mitsrayim, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you,
61 also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in the Book of this Torah, YAHUAH brings upon you until you are destroyed.
62 “And you shall be left with few men, although you had become as numerous as the stars of the shamayim, because you did not obey the voice of YAHUAH your Elohim.
63 “And it shall be, that as YAHUAH rejoiced over you to do you good and increase you, so YAHUAH rejoices over you to destroy you and lay you waste. And you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess.
64 “And YAHUAH shall scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other mighty ones, which neither you nor your fathers have known, wood and stone.
65 “And among those nations you are to find no rest, nor have a resting place for the sole of your foot. But there YAHUAH shall give you a trembling heart, and failing eyes, and sorrow of being.
66 “And your life shall be hanging in suspense before you, and you shall fear day and night, and not be certain of your life.
67 “In the morning you say, ‘Oh, that it were evening!’ And at evening you say, ‘Oh, that it were morning!’ because of the fear of your heart, with which you fear, and because of the sight which your eyes see.
68 “And YAHUAH shall bring you back to Mitsrayim in ships, by a way of which I said to you, ‘You are never to see it again.’ And there you shall be sold to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one to buy.”
DEḆARIM (DEUTERONOMY)
Chapter 28
12/09/25
But now, thus said YAHUAH, your Creator, O Ya’aqoḇ, and He who formed you, O Yisra’ĕl, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name, you are Mine.
2 “When you pass through the waters, I am with you; and through rivers, they do not overflow you. When you walk through fire, you are not scorched, and a flame does not burn you.
3 “For I am YAHUAH your Elohim, the Qadosh One of Yisra’ĕl, your Saviour; I gave Mitsrayim for your ransom, Kush and Seḇa in your place.
4 “Since you were precious in My eyes, you have been esteemed, and I have loved you. And I give men in your place, and peoples for your life.
5 “Do not fear, for I am with you. I shall bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west.
6 “I shall say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth -
7 all those who are called by My Name, whom I have created, formed, even made for My esteem.”
8 He shall bring out a blind people who have eyes, and deaf ones who have ears.
9 All the nations shall be assembled, and the peoples be gathered. Who among them declares this, and shows us former? Let them give their witnesses, to be declared right; or let them hear and say, “It is truth.”
10 “You are My witnesses,” declares YAHUAH, “And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no Ĕl formed, nor after Me there is none.
11 “I, I am YAHUAH, and besides Me there is no saviour.
12 “I, I have declared and saved, and made known, and there was no foreign mighty one among you. And you are My witnesses,” declares YAHUAH, “that I am Ĕl.
13 “Even from the day I am He, and no one delivers out of My hand. I work, and who turns it back?”
14 Thus said YAHUAH, your Redeemer, the Qadosh One of Yisra’ĕl, “For your sake I shall send to Baḇel, and bring them all down as fugitives, even the Kasdites, who rejoice in their ships.
15 “I am YAHUAH, your Qadosh One, Creator of Yisra’ĕl, your Sovereign.”
16 Thus said YAHUAH, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters,
17 who brings forth the chariot and horse, the army and the strong. They lie down together, they do not rise, they have been extinguished, they have been quenched like a wick.
18 “Do not remember the former, nor consider that of old.
19 “See, I am doing what is new, let it now spring forth. Do you not know it? I am even making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
20 “The beast of the field esteems Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I have given waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen,
21 this people I have formed for Myself, let them relate My praise.
22 “But you have not called on Me, O Ya’aqoḇ, for you have been weary of Me, O Yisra’ĕl.
23 “You have not brought Me the sheep for your burnt offerings, nor have you esteemed Me with your slaughterings. I have not caused you to serve with grain offerings, nor wearied you with incense.
24 “You have not bought Me sweet cane with silver, nor have you satisfied Me with the fat of your slaughterings. You have only burdened Me with your sins, you have wearied Me with your wickednesses.
25 “I, I am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and remember your sins no more.
26 “Remind Me, let us enter into judgment, together; relate, that you might be declared right.
27 “Your first father sinned, and your interpreters have transgressed against Me.
28 “So I have profaned the chief ones of the qodesh place, and I have delivered up Ya’aqoḇ to the curse, and Yisra’ĕl to scorn.
YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH)
Chapter 43
12/10/25
“But now hear, O Ya’aqoḇ My servant, and Yisra’ĕl whom I have chosen.
2 “Thus said YAHUAH who made you and formed you from the womb, who helps you, ‘Do not fear, O Ya’aqoḇ My servant, and Yeshurun, whom I have chosen.
3 ‘For I pour water on the thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I pour My Ruaḥ on your seed, and My beraḵah on your offspring,
4 and they shall spring up among the grass like willows by streams of water.’
5 “One says, ‘I belong to YAHUAH; another calls himself by the name of Ya’aqoḇ; another writes with his hand, ‘Unto YAHUAH,’ and names himself by the name of Yisra’ĕl.
6 “Thus said YAHUAH, Sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, and his Redeemer, YAHUAH of hosts, ‘I am the First and I am the Last, besides Me there is no Elohim.
7 ‘And who is like Me? Let him call and declare it, and lay it before Me, since I appointed the everlasting people. And the events that are coming and those that do come, let them declare these to them.
8 ‘Do not fear, nor be afraid. Have I not since made you hear, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there an Eloah besides Me? There is no other Rock, I know not one.’ ”
9 Those who make an idol, all of them are emptiness, and their delights do not profit. And they are their own witnesses; they neither see nor know, so that they are put to shame.
10 Who would form a mighty one or cast an idol that is of no value?
11 See, all his companions are ashamed, and the workmen, they are but men. Let them all be gathered together, let them stand up, let them fear, let them be put to shame, altogether.
12 The craftsman in iron with the tools works one in the coals, and fashions it with hammers, and works it with the strength of his arms. Even so, he shall be hungry, and has no strength; he drinks no water and is weary.
13 The carpenter stretches out his rule, he outlines it with chalk; he fashions it with a plane, and he outlines it with the compass, and makes it like the figure of a man, according to the comeliness of a man, to remain in the house.
14 He cuts down cedars for himself, and takes cypress and oak, which he raised among the trees of the forest. He has planted a pine, and the rain nourishes it.
15 And it shall be for a man to burn, for he takes some of it and warms himself. He also kindles it and shall bake bread. He also makes a mighty one and bows himself to it - has made it a carved image and falls down before it.
16 Half of it he shall burn in the fire; with this half he eats meat. He roasts a roast, and is satisfied. He also warms himself and says, “Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.”
17 And the rest of it he makes into a mighty one, his carved image. He falls down before it and worships, prays to it and says, “Deliver me, for you are my mighty one.”
18 They do not know nor understand, for He has smeared their eyes from seeing, and their hearts from understanding.
19 And no one recalls it to his heart, nor is there knowledge nor understanding to say, “I have burned half of it in the fire, and I have also baked bread on its coals; I have roasted meat and eaten it. And shall I make the rest of it an abomination? Should I fall down before a log of wood?”
20 Feeding on ashes, a deceived heart turns him aside, and he does not deliver his being, nor says, “Is there not a lie in my right hand?”
21 “Remember these, O Ya’aqoḇ, and Yisra’ĕl, for you are My servant! I have formed you, you are My servant, O Yisra’ĕl, do not forget Me!
22 “I shall wipe out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I shall redeem you.”
23 Sing, O shamayim, for YAHUAH shall do it! Shout, O depths of the earth! Break forth into singing, O mountains, forest, and every tree in it! For YAHUAH shall redeem Ya’aqoḇ, and make Himself clear in Yisra’ĕl.
24 Thus said YAHUAH, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb, “I am YAHUAH, doing all, stretching out the shamayim all alone, spreading out the earth, with none beside Me,
25 frustrating the signs of the babblers, and driving diviners mad, turning wise men backward, and making their knowledge foolish,
26 confirming the word of His servant, and completing the counsel of His messengers, who says of Yerushalayim, ‘Be inhabited,’ and of the cities of Yahuḏah, ‘They shall be built, and her ruins raised up by Me,’
27 who is saying to the deep, ‘Be dry, and your rivers I dry up,’
28 who is saying of Koresh, ‘He is My shepherd, and he completes all My pleasure, even saying to Yerushalayim, “Let her be built,” and to the Hĕyḵal, “Let her foundation be laid.” ’
YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH)
Chapter 44
12/11/25
But when He saw the crowds, He went up on a mountain. And when He was seated His talmidim came to Him.
2 And having opened His mouth, He was teaching them, saying,
3 “Baruḵ are the poor in spirit, because theirs is the reign of the shamayim.
4 “Baruḵ are those who mourn, because they shall be comforted.
5 “Baruḵ are the meek, because they shall inherit the earth.
6 “Baruḵ are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, because they shall be filled.
7 “Baruḵ are the compassionate, because they shall obtain compassion.
8 “Baruḵ are the clean in heart, because they shall see Elohim.
9 “Baruḵ are the peacemakers, because they shall be called sons of Elohim.
10 “Baruḵ are those persecuted for righteousness’ sake, because theirs is the reign of the shamayim.
11 “Baruḵ are you when they reproach and persecute you, and falsely say every wicked word against you, for My sake.
12 “Rejoice and be glad, because your reward in the shamayim is great. For in this way they persecuted the neḇi’im who were before you.
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt becomes tasteless, how shall it be seasoned? For it is no longer of any use but to be thrown out and to be trodden down by men.
14 “You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city to be hidden on a mountain.
15 “Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines to all those in the house.
16 “Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works and praise your Father who is in the shamayim.
17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Neḇi’im. I did not come to destroy but to complete.
18 “For truly, I say to you, till the shamayim and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.
19 “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these Commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the shamayim; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the shamayim.
20 “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the shamayim.
21 “You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder,’ and whoever murders shall be liable to judgment.
22 “But I say to you that whoever is wroth with his brother without a cause shall be liable to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raka!’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be liable to fire of Gĕy-Hinnom.
23 “If, then, you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother holds whatever against you,
24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first make peace with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
25 “Be well-minded with your opponent, promptly, while you are on the way with him, lest your opponent deliver you to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
26 “Truly, I say to you, you shall by no means get out of there till you have paid the last quarter.
27 “You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’
28 “But I say to you that everyone looking at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
29 “And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gĕy-Hinnom.
30 “And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gĕy-Hinnom.
31 “And it has been said, ‘Whoever puts away his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’
32 “But I say to you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the matter of whoring, makes her commit adultery. And whoever marries a woman who has been put away commits adultery.
33 “Again, you heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to YAHUAH.’
34 “But I say to you, do not swear falsely at all, neither by the shamayim, because it is Elohim’s throne;
35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Yerushalayim, for it is the city of the great Sovereign;
36 nor swear by your head, because you are not able to make one hair white or black.
37 “But let your word ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ And what goes beyond these is from the wicked one.
38 “You heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,’
39 but I say to you, do not resist the wicked. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.
40 “And he who wants to sue you and take away your inner garment, let him have your outer garment as well.
41 “And whoever compels you to go one miliyon, go with him two.
42 “Give to him who asks of you, and from him who wants to borrow from you, do not turn away.
43 “You heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’
44 “But I say to you, love your enemies, baraḵ those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those insulting you and persecuting you,
45 so that you become sons of your Father in the shamayim. Because He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.
46 “For if you love those loving you, what reward have you? Are the tax collectors not doing the same too?
47 “And if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more? Are the tax collectors not doing so too?
48 “Therefore, be perfect, as your Father in the shamayim is perfect.
MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW)
Chapter 5
12/12/25
“Hear this, O house of Ya’aqoḇ, who are called by the name of Yisra’ĕl, and have come from the waters of Yahuḏah, who swear by the Name of YAHUAH, and profess the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl - but not in truth or in righteousness -
2 for they call themselves after the qodesh city, and lean on the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl - YAHUAH of hosts is His Name:
3 “I have declared the former from the beginning, and they went forth from My mouth, and I made you hear them. Suddenly I acted, and they came to be.
4 “Because I knew that you were hard, and your neck was an iron sinew, and your forehead bronze,
5 therefore I declared it to you long ago. Before it came I made you hear, lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them, and my carved image and my moulded image commanded them.’
6 “You have heard, look at them all. And do you not declare it? From now on I shall make you hear new ones, even hidden ones, which you have not known.
7 “Now they shall be created and not long ago. And before this day you have not heard them, lest you should say, ‘Look, I knew them.’
8 “No, you have not heard; no, you have not known; no, from of old your ear has not been open. Because I knew that you are indeed treacherous, and are called ‘a transgressor from the womb.’
9 “For My Name’s sake I postponed My displeasure, and for My praise I held it back from you, so as not to cut you off.
10 “See, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
11 “For My own sake, for My own sake, I do it. For how is it profaned? And My esteem I do not give to another.
12 “Listen to Me, O Ya’aqoḇ, and Yisra’ĕl, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last.
13 “Also, My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has stretched out the shamayim. I call to them, let them stand together.
14 “All of you, gather yourselves, and hear! Who among them has declared these? YAHUAH has loved him. Let him do His pleasure on Baḇel, and His arm be on the Kasdites.
15 “I, I have spoken, I have also called him, I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
16 “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, I was there. And now the Aḏon YAHUAH has sent Me, and His Ruaḥ.”
17 Thus said YAHUAH, your Redeemer, the Qadosh One of Yisra’ĕl, “I am YAHUAH your Elohim, teaching you what is best, leading you by the way you should go.
18 “If only you had listened to My Commands! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
19 “And your seed would have been like the sand, and the offspring of your inward parts like the grains of sand. His name would not have been cut off nor destroyed from before Me.
20 “Come out of Baḇel! Flee from the Kasdites! Declare this with a voice of singing, proclaim it, send it out to the end of the earth! Say, ‘YAHUAH has redeemed His servant Ya’aqoḇ!’ ”
21 And they did not thirst when He led them through the deserts; He caused waters from a rock to flow for them; He split the rock, and waters gushed out.
22 “There is no peace for the wicked,” said YAHUAH.”
YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH)
Chapter 48
12/13/25
There dwelt a man in Baḇel, called Yoyaqim, 2 and he took a wife, whose name was Shoshannah, the daughter of Ḥilqiyahu, a very lovely woman, and one that revered YAHUAH.
3 Her parents were also righteous, and taught their daughter according to the Torah of Mosheh.
4 Now Yoyaqim was a very wealthy man, and had a lovely garden adjoining his house, and the Yahuḏim came to him because he was more esteemed than all others.
5 The same year two of the elders of the people were appointed to be judges, of whom YAHUAH said, “Wickedness came from Baḇel from elders who were judges, who were supposed to govern the people.”
6 These were often at Yoyaqim’s house, and all that had any matter of law came to them.
7 Now when the people departed at noon, Shoshannah went into her husband’s garden to walk.
8 And the two elders saw her going in every day, and walking, therefore their lust was inflamed toward her.
9 And they perverted their own mind, and turned away their eyes, that they might not look to the shamayim, nor remember righteous Right-Rulings.
10 And although they both were smitten with her love, they dared not show one another his grief,
11 for they were ashamed to admit their lust, that they desired to have to do with her.
12 Even so, they watched diligently from day to day to see her.
13 And the one said to the other, “Let us now go home, for it is mealtime.”
14 So when they were gone out, they parted from one another, but turning back again they came to the same place. And after that they had asked one another the cause, they acknowledged their lust. They then both appointed a time together, when they might find her alone.
15 And it came to be, as they watched for an opportune time, she went in as before with only two female servants, and she desired to wash herself in the garden, for it was hot.
16 And there was no one there except the two elders, that had hidden themselves, watching her.
17 Then she said to her female servants, “Bring me oil and washing balm, and shut the garden doors, that I may wash myself.”
18 And they did as she asked them, and shut the garden doors, and went out themselves at private doors to fetch that which she had commanded them; but they did not see the elders, because they were hidden.
19 Now when the female servants had gone out, the two elders rose up, and ran to her, saying,
20 “See, the garden doors are shut, so that no one see us, and we are in love with you; therefore consent to us, and lie with us.
21 “If you shall not, we shall witness against you, that a young man was with you, and that is why you sent away your female servants from you.”
22 Then Shoshannah sighed, and said, “I am trapped on every side; for if I do this deed, it is death unto me; and if I do not do it I cannot escape your hands.
23 “It is better for me to fall into your hands, and not do it, than to sin in the sight of YAHUAH.”
24 With that Shoshannah cried with a loud voice, and the two elders cried out against her.
25 Then the one ran, and opened the garden door.
26 So when the servants of the house heard the cry in the garden, they rushed in at the private door, to see what was done to her.
27 But when the elders had spoken their words, the servants were greatly ashamed, for there was never such a report made of Shoshannah.
28 And it came to be the next day, when the people were assembled to her husband Yoyaqim, the two elders also came full of evil intentions against Shoshannah to put her to death,
29 and said before the people, “Send for Shoshannah, the daughter of Ḥilqiyahu, Yoyaqim’s wife.” And so they sent.
30 So she came with her father and mother, her children, and all her relatives.
31 Now Shoshannah was a very delicate woman, and lovely to look at.
32 And these wicked men commanded to uncover her face - for she was covered - that they might be filled with her loveliness.
33 Therefore her friends and all that saw her wept.
34 Then the two elders stood up in the midst of the people, and laid their hands upon her head.
35 And she, weeping, looked up toward the shamayim, for her heart trusted in YAHUAH.
36 And the elders said, “As we walked in the garden alone, this woman came in with two female servants, and shut the garden doors, and sent the female servants away.
37 “Then a young man, who was hid there, came to her, and lay with her!
38 “Then we that stood in a corner of the garden, seeing this wickedness, ran toward them.
39 “And when we saw them together, we could not hold the man, for he was stronger than we, and opened the door, and leaped out.
40 “But having taken this woman, we asked who the young man was, but she would not tell us! These matters we do witness.”
41 Then the assembly believed them, as they were the elders and judges of the people; so they condemned her to death.
42 Then Shoshannah cried out with a loud voice, and said, “O everlasting Elohim, who knows the secrets, and knows all before they come to be.
43 “You know that they have borne false witness against me, and, see, I must die; whereas I never did such matters as these men have maliciously devised against me!”
44 And YAHUAH heard her voice.
45 Therefore when she was led to be put to death, YAHUAH raised up the qodesh spirit of a young man whose name was Dani’ĕl,
46 who cried with a loud voice, “I am clear from the blood of this woman!”
47 Then all the people turned toward him, and said, “What do you mean by these words that you have spoken?”
48 So he, standing in the midst of them said, “Are you such fools, you sons of Yisra’ĕl, that without examination or knowledge of the truth you have condemned a daughter of Yisra’ĕl?
49 “Return again to the place of judgment, for they have borne false witness against her.”
50 Therefore all the people turned again in haste, and the elders said to him, “Come, sit down among us, and show us, seeing Elohim has given you the esteem of an elder.”
51 Then Dani’ĕl said to them, “Put these two aside, one far from another, and I shall examine them.”
52 So when they were put apart, one from another, he called one of them, and said to him, “O you that have grown old in wickedness, now your sins which you have committed previously have come to light.
53 “For you have pronounced false judgment and have condemned the innocent and have let the guilty go free; although YAHUAH says, ‘The innocent and righteous you shall not slay.’
54 “Now then, if you have seen her, tell me under what tree you saw them joining together?” Who answered, “Under a mastic tree.”
55 And Dani’ĕl said, “Very well. You have also lied against your own head. For even now the messenger of Elohim has received the sentence of Elohim to cut you in two.”
56 So he put him aside, and commanded to bring the other, and said to him, “O you seed of Kena’an, and not of Yahuḏah, loveliness has deceived you, and lust has perverted your heart.
57 “Thus have you dealt with the daughters of Yisra’ĕl, and they for fear joined with you. But the daughter of Yahuḏah would not abide your wickedness.
58 “Now therefore tell me, under what tree did you catch them joining together?” Who answered, “Under an evergreen tree.”
59 Then Dani’ĕl said to him, “Very well. You have also lied against your own head. For the messenger of Elohim waits with the sword to cut you in two, that he may destroy you.”
60 With that, all the assembly cried out with a loud voice, and praised Elohim, who saves those who trust in Him.
61 And they rose up against the two elders, for Dani’ĕl had convicted them of false witness by their own mouth.
62 And according to the Torah of Mosheh, they did to them such as they had maliciously intended to do to their neighbour, and they put them to death. Thus the innocent blood was saved that very day.
63 Therefore Ḥilqiyahu and his wife praised Elohim for their daughter Shoshannah, with Yoyaqim her husband, and all their relatives, because there was no dishonesty found in her.
64 From that day onward, Dani’ĕl was held in high regard in the sight of the people.
