My little children, I write this to you, so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Intercessor with the Father, Yahusha ha’Mashiaḥ, a righteous One.
2 And He Himself is an atoning offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world.
3 And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His Commands.
4 The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His Commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
6 The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.
7 Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old Command which you have had from the beginning. The old Command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.

YOḤANAN 1(1 John) 2:1-7

10/01/25

23 “Aharon shall then come into the Tent of Appointment, and shall take off the linen garments which he put on when he went into the qodesh place, and shall leave them there.
24 “And he shall bathe his body in water in the qodesh place, and shall put on his garments, and shall come out and prepare his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people,
29 “And this shall be for you a Law forever: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you afflict your beings, and do no work, the native or the stranger who sojourns among you.
30 “For on that day he makes atonement for you, to cleanse you, to be clean from all your sins before YAHUAH.
31 “It is a Shabbath of rest for you, and you shall afflict your beings - a Law forever.
32 “And the kohĕn, who is anointed and ordained to serve as kohĕn in his father’s place, shall make atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, the qodesh garments,
33 and he shall make atonement for the Qodesh Miqdash, and make atonement for the Tent of Appointment and for the altar, and make atonement for the kohenim and for all the people of the assembly.
34 “And this shall be for you a Law forever, to make atonement for the children of Yisra’ĕl, for all their sins, once a year.” And he did as YAHUAH commanded Mosheh.

BOOK OF KAILEDY 17:24
(BOOK OF NATSARIM)

Yahusha said, “The road starts within yourself, but to find it you must abide by the Torah as written in the Books of Wisdom. For knowledge of the Torah provides a true and clear picture of yourself. Just as a mirror reflects back a true image, so does the Torah when studied diligently. Let this be your guiding light: Take no thought for tomorrow, whether it bring good or bring evil; the cares of the day are sufficient, and the Torah will sustain you.”

WAYYIQRA (Leviticus) 23:23-25

And YAHUAH spoke to Mosheh, saying,
24 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a rest, a remembrance of blowing of trumpets, a qodesh gathering.
25 ‘You do no servile work, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to YAHUAH.’ ”

BEMIḎBAR (Numbers) 29:1-6

‘And in the seventh month, on the first of the month, you have a qodesh gathering, you do no servile work, it is a Yom Teruah for you.
2 ‘And you shall prepare a burnt offering as a sweet fragrance to YAHUAH: one young bull, one ram, seven lambs a year old, perfect ones,
3 and their grain offering: fine flour mixed with oil, three-tenth parts for the bull, two-tenth parts for the ram,
4 and one-tenth part for each of the seven lambs,
5 and one male goat as a sin offering, to make atonement for you,
6 besides the burnt offering with its grain offering for the New Moon, the continual burnt offering with its grain offering, and their drink offerings, according to their Right-Ruling, as a sweet fragrance, an offering made by fire to YAHUAH.

NOW

By DDR 2016

Stop questioning YAHUAH about the NOW

It is not when you say now

It is when YAHUAH says NOW

YAHUAH says

I had you then
I have you now
and I’ll have you then again

Every time you say it
I have you NOW

Every time you think it
I have you NOW

Every time you read it
I have you NOW

Your future can be your present
But your present can only be your past

I am the same yesterday, today, and forever because

I AM NOW!

casting all your worry upon Him, for He is concerned about you.

Yoḇelim (Jubilees) 20:8

"And do not make for yourselves moulded or carved mighty ones; for they are worthless, and there is no spirit in them. For they are work of hands, and all who trust in them trust in naught.
Do not serve them, nor worship them.

Deḇarim (Deuteronomy) 6:4-9

“Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: YAHUAH our Elohim, YAHUAH is one!

5 “And you shall love YAHUAH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.

6 “And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart,

7 and you shall impress them upon your children, and shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up,

8 and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

9 “And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Let the wilderness and the dry place be glad for them, and let the desert rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
2 It blossoms much and rejoices, even with joy and singing. The esteem of Leanon shall be given to it, the excellence of Karmel and Sharon. They shall see the esteem of YAHUAH, the excellency of our Elohim.
3 Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the weak knees.
4 Say to those with anxious heart, “Be strong, do not fear! See, your Elohim comes with vengeance, with the recompense of Elohim. He is coming to save you.”
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf be opened.
6 Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing, because waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.
7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water - in the home for jackals, where each lay, grass with reeds and rushes.
8 And there shall be a highway, and a way, and it shall be called “The Way of Qodeshah.” The unclean does not pass over it, but it is for those who walk the Way, and not a wandering fool.
9 No lion is there, nor any ravenous beast go up on it, it is not found there. But the redeemed shall walk there.
10 And the ransomed of YAHUAH shall return and enter Tsiyon with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

YESHAYAHU
Isaiah 35

brown wooden house on lake

O YAHUAH, Ĕl of vengeance; O Ĕl of vengeance, shine forth!
2 Raise Yourself up, O Judge of the earth; Render punishment to the proud.
3 YAHUAH, how long are the wicked, How long are the wicked going to exult?
4 They pour forth, They speak arrogantly; All the workers of wickedness boast in themselves.
5 They crush Your people, O YAHUAH, And they afflict Your inheritance.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, And murder the fatherless.
7 Yet they say, “Yah does not see, And the Elohim of Ya’aqo pays no heed.”
8 Take heed, you senseless among the people; And you fools, when would you become wise?
9 He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the eye, does He not see?
10 He who disciplines the nations, Does He not reprove - The One teaching man knowledge?
11 YAHUAH knows the thoughts of man, That they are a breath.
12 Baru is the man You discipline, O Yah, And instruct out of Your Torah,
13 To give him rest from the days of evil, Until the pit is dug for the wicked.
14 For YAHUAH does not leave His people, Nor does He forsake His inheritance.
15 For Right-Ruling returns to righteousness, And all the upright in heart follow it.
16 Who would rise up for me against evil-doers? Who would stand up for me against workers of wickedness?
17 If YAHUAH had not been my help, My being would soon have settled in silence.
18 When I said, “My foot has slipped,” Your kindness, O YAHUAH, supported me.
19 When anxiety was great within me, Your comforts delighted my being.
20 Would a throne of destruction, Which devises trouble by law, Be joined with You?
21 They band together against the life of the righteous, And declare innocent blood wicked.
22 But YAHUAH is my defence, And my Elohim the rock of my refuge,
23 And brings back on them their own wickedness, And cuts them off in their own wickedness; YAHUAH our Elohim cuts them off.

TEHILLIM
Psalm 94

09/16/25

YAHUAH shall reign, He shall put on excellency; YAHUAH shall put on strength; He shall gird Himself. Indeed, the world is established, immovable.
2 Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.
3 Rivers shall lift up, O YAHUAH, Rivers shall lift up their voice; Rivers lift up their breakers.
4 YAHUAH on high is mightier Than the noise of many waters, The mighty breakers of the sea.
5 Your Witnesses have been very trustworthy. Qodeshah befits Your house, O YAHUAH, forever.

TEHILLIM
Psalm 93

09/15/25

A psalm, a song for the Shabbath day.

1 It is good to give thanks to YAHUAH, And to sing praises to Your Name, O Most High;
2 To declare Your kindness in the morning, And Your trustworthiness each night,
3 On ten strings, and on the harp, To the sounding chords of the lyre.
4 For You have made me rejoice with Your work, O YAHUAH, I shout for joy at the works of Your hands.
5 O YAHUAH, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep!
6 A senseless man does not know, And a fool does not understand this.
7 When the wicked spring up like grass, And all the workers of wickedness blossom, It is for them to be destroyed forever.
8 But You, YAHUAH, are on high forever.
9 For look, Your enemies, O YAHUAH, For look, Your enemies do perish; All the workers of wickedness are scattered.
10 But You lift up my horn like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.
11 And my eye looks upon my enemies; My ears hear the evil-doers Who rise up against me.
12 The righteous one flourishes like a palm tree, He grows like a cedar in Le
anon.
13 Those who are planted in the House of YAHUAH Flourish in the courts of our Elohim.
14 They still bear fruit in old age; They are fresh and green,
15 To declare that YAHUAH is straight, My rock, and in Him is no unrighteousness.

TEHILLIM
Psalm 92

09/14/25

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Who abides under the shadow of Ĕl Shaddai,
2 He is saying of YAHUAH, “My refuge and my stronghold, My Elohim, in whom I trust!”
3 For He delivers you from the snare of a trapper, From the destructive pestilence.
4 He covers you with His feathers, And under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour.
5 You are not afraid of the dread by night, Of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Of destruction that ravages at midday.
7 A thousand fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it does not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes you look on, And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made YAHUAH - My refuge, the Most High - your dwelling place,
10 No evil befalls you, And a plague does not come near your tent;
11 For He commands His messengers concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.
12 They bear you up in their hands, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You tread upon lion and cobra, Young lion and serpent you trample underfoot.
14 “Because he clings to Me in love, Therefore I deliver him; I exalt him, Because he has known My Name.
15 “When he calls on Me, I answer him; I am with him in distress; I deliver him and esteem him.
16 “With long life I satisfy him, And show him My deliverance.”

TEHILLIM
Psalm 91

09/13/25

To the chief singer, for the sons of Qoraḥ. A song with sopranos.

1 Elohim is our refuge and strength, A help in distress, soon found.
2 Therefore we do not fear, Though the earth reels And mountains topple into the heart of the seas.
3 Let its waters rage, foam; Let mountains shake with its swelling. Selah.
4 A river whose streams Make glad the city of Elohim, The qodesh dwelling of the Most High.
5 Elohim is in her midst, she does not topple; Elohim helps her when morning turns.
6 The gentiles shall rage, Reigns shall topple; He shall give forth His voice, The earth melts.
7 YAHUAH of hosts is with us; The Elohim of Ya’aqo
is our refuge. Selah.
8 Come, see the works of YAHUAH, The ruins He has wrought on the earth,
9 Causing fighting to cease, Unto the end of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the chariot with fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am Elohim; I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth!
11 YAHUAH of hosts is with us; The Elohim of Ya’aqo
is our refuge. Selah.

TEHILLIM
Psalm 46

09/12/25

But you, O Elohim, showing favour and truth, Patient, and ruling all in kindness,
2 For if we sin, we are Yours, knowing Your power; But we shall not sin, knowing that we are considered Yours.
3 For to know You, is perfect righteousness, Also to know Your power is the root of immortality.
4 For neither did the evil intention of men deceive us, Nor an image spotted with various colours, The painter’s fruitless labour;
5 The sight of which entices fools to lust after it, And so they desire the form of a lifeless image that has no breath.
6 Both those who make them, those who desire them, and those who worship them, Are lovers of evil, and are worthy to have such to trust upon.
7 For the potter, kneading soft earth, fashions every vessel with much labour for our service; Indeed, of the same clay he makes both the vessels that serve for clean uses, And likewise also all those who serve the contrary. But to what is the use of either, the potter himself is the judge.
8 And using his labours wickedly, he makes a vain mighty one of the same clay, Even he which a little before was made of earth himself, And within a little while after returns to the same, When his life which was loaned to him shall be demanded.
9 But his concern is, not that he shall have much labour, Nor that his life is short; But strives to outdo goldsmiths and silversmiths, And endeavours to do like the workers in bronze, And counts it his esteem to make that which is counterfeit.
10 His heart is ashes, his expectancy is cheaper than dirt, And his life of less value than clay.
11 Because he did not know his Maker, And He who inspired into him an active being, And breathed in a living spirit.
12 But they reckoned our life a game, And our time here a market-place for gain; For they say, “We must acquire every way.” Though it be by evil means.
13 For this man, of earthly matter knows he is stumbling above all else, Making frail vessels and graven images.
14 And all the enemies of Your people, that hold them in subjection, are most foolish, And are more miserable than an infant.
15 For they reckoned all the idols of the gentiles to be mighty ones; Which neither have the use of eyes to see, Nor noses to draw breath, Nor ears to hear, Nor fingers of hands to touch; And as for their feet, they are slow to move.
16 For man made them, and he who borrowed his own spirit fashioned them: But no man makes a mighty one that is like himself.
17 For being mortal, he makes that which is dead with wicked hands; For he himself is better than that which he worships; Whereas he lived once, but they never.
18 Also, they worshipped those beasts that are also most hateful; For being compared together, some are worse than others.
19 Neither do they look good, so much as to be desired regarding beasts: But they went without the praise of Elohim and His beraah.

ḤAḴMAH
Wisdom of Solomon 15

09/11/25

Again, one preparing himself to sail, And about to pass through the raging waves, Calls upon a piece of wood more rotten than the vessel that carries him.
2 For truly this was planned by desire for gain, And the workman built it by his skill.
3 But Your providence, O Father, guides it; For You have made a path in the sea, and a safe way in the waves;
4 Showing that You save from every danger: Even though a man went to sea without regard.
5 Nevertheless You do not want that the works of Your wisdom should be idle, And therefore men committing their lives to a small piece of wood, And passing the rough sea in a weak vessel are saved.
6 For also in ages past, when the proud giants perished, The expectancy of the world governed by Your hand escaped in a weak vessel, And left a seed of generation to all ages.
7 For baru is the wood by which righteousness comes.
8 But an idol made with hands is cursed, as well as he who made it; He, because he made it; And it, because, being corruptible, it was called a mighty one.
9 For the wicked and his wickedness alike are both hateful to Elohim.
10 For that which is made shall be punished together with he who made it.
11 Therefore there shall even be a reckoning upon the idols of the gentiles: For in the creation of Elohim they have become an abomination, And stumbling-blocks to the beings of men, And a snare to the feet of the unwise.
12 For the devising of idols was the beginning of spiritual whoring, And the creation of them the corruption of life.
13 For neither were they from the beginning, Nor shall they be forever.
14 For by the conceit of men they entered into the world, And therefore shall they come quickly to an end.
15 For a father afflicted with untimely mourning, When he has made an image of his child soon taken away, Now esteemed him as a mighty one, which was then a dead one, And delivered to those beneath him ceremonies and offerings.
16 Thus over time an evil custom grew strong being kept as a law, And graven images were worshipped by the commands of sovereigns.
17 When men could not esteem in presence, because they dwelt far away, They took the likeness of his image from afar, And made an exact likeness of a sovereign whom they esteemed, So that through their ardour they might flatter he who was absent, as if he were present.
18 The skill of the craftsman also helped to impel the ignorant to increased worship.
19 For he, perhaps willing to please one in authority, Forced all his skill to make the likeness in the best fashion.
20 And so the multitude, attracted by the appeal of the work, Accepted him now as a mighty one, Who a little before was only esteemed.
21 And this was an occasion to deceive the world: For men, serving either calamity or authority, Ascribed unto stones and stocks the Name not to be shared.
22 And this was not enough for them, that they strayed in the knowledge of Elohim; But while they lived in the great struggle of ignorance, Those great calamities they called peace.
23 For while they slew their children in offerings, Or performed secret ceremonies, or held wild festivals of strange rituals;
24 No longer did they keep lives nor marriages undefiled; But each one slew another in betrayal, or grieved him through adultery.
25 So that there ruled in all men without exception: Blood, murder, theft, and hypocrisy, Corruption, unbelief, confusion, falsehood,
26 Distress of good men, forgetfulness of good, defilement of beings, Changing of kind, disorder in marriages, adultery, and shameless uncleanness.
27 For the worshipping of idols not to be named Is the beginning, the cause, and the end of all evil.
28 For either they rave when they exult, or prophesy lies, Or live unrighteously, Or else readily contradict themselves.
29 For because their trust is in idols, which have no life; Though they swear falsely, yet they expect no harm.
30 However for both causes they shall be rightly punished: Both because they did not think well of Elohim, Giving heed to idols, and also unrighteously swore in deceit, Despising qodeshah.
31 For it is not the power of them by whom they swear: But it is the righteous vengeance of sinners, That always punishes the offense of the wicked.

ḤAḴMAH
Wisdom of Solomon 14

09/10/25

Surely all men who are ignorant of Elohim, are worthless by nature, And could not know Him from the good which is seen; Neither by considering the works did they acknowledge the Craftsman;
2 But supposed either fire, or wind, or the swift air, Or the circle of the stars, or the raging water, Or the lights of the shamayim to be the mighty ones which govern the world.
3 If they, being delighted with their loveliness, took them to be mighty ones; Let them know how much better their Aon is; For the first Author of loveliness has created them.
4 But if they were astonished at their power and excellence, Let them understand by them, how much mightier He is that made them.
5 For the greatness and loveliness of the creation is seen in proportion to the maker of them.
6 But yet for this they are the less to be blamed: For perhaps they stray, seeking Elohim, And desire to find him.
7 For being accompanied with His works they search Him diligently, and believe their sight; Because that which is seen is lovely.
8 However neither are they to be pardoned.
9 For if they were able to know so much, that they could examine the world; How did they not sooner find out the Aon of such?
10 But they are miserable, and their expectancy is in dead objects, Who call them mighty ones, which are the works of men’s hands, Gold and silver fashioned with skill and likeness of beasts, Or a stone good for naught - the work of an aged hand.
11 Now a carpenter that cuts timber, after he has hewed down a tree suited for the purpose, And taken off all the bark round about with skill, And has fashioned it elegantly, and made a vessel from it fit for the service of man’s life;
12 And after using the remains of his work to prepare his food, has filled himself;
13 And taking the very waste among that which served no use, Being a crooked piece of wood, and full of knots, Has carved it diligently, when he had none else to do, And formed it by the skill of his knowledge, And fashioned it into the image of a man;
14 Or made it like some lowly beast, Laying it over with scarlet, and with paint colouring it red, And covering every blemish with it;
15 And when he has made a suitable space for it, Positioned it on a wall, and fastened it with iron –
16 For he prepared for it that it might not fall, Knowing that it was unable to help itself; For it is an image, and has need of help –
17 Then he makes a prayer for his possessions, for his wife and children, And is not ashamed to speak to that which has no life.
18 For health he calls upon that which is weak; For life he prays to that which is dead; For help he humbly pleads that which has the least means to help; And for a good journey he asks of that which cannot put a foot forward;
19 And for gaining and getting, and for good success of his hands, Asks ability to do from that which is most unable to do any deed.

Wisdom of Solomon 13

Trustworthy is the word: If a man longs for the position of an overseer, he desires a good work.
2 An overseer, then, should be blameless, the husband of one wife, sober, sensible, orderly, kind to strangers, able to teach,
3 not given to wine, no brawler, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous,
4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in subjection with all reverence,
5 for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how shall he look after the assembly of Elohim?
6 Not a new convert, lest he become puffed up with pride and fall into the judgment of the devil.
7 And he should even have a good witness from those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
8 Likewise attendants are to be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for filthy gain,
9 holding to the secret of the belief with a clean conscience.
10 And let these also be proved first, then let them serve, if they are unreprovable.
11 Wives in the same way: reverent, not false accusers, sober, trustworthy in every way.
12 Let attendants be the husbands of one wife, ruling children and their own houses well.
13 For those who have served well as attendants gain good standing for themselves, and much boldness in the belief that is in Mashia YAHUSHA.
14 I am writing you this, expecting to come to you shortly,
15 but if I delay, that you might know how you should behave in the House of Elohim, which is the assembly of the living Elohim - a support and foundation of the truth.
16 And, beyond all question, the secret of reverence is great - who was revealed in the flesh, declared right in Rua, was seen by messengers, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in esteem.

TIMOTIYOS 1
1 Timothy 3

09/08/25

I call upon you therefore, I the prisoner of the Aon, to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
2 with all humility and meekness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
3 being eager to guard the unity of the Rua in the bond of peace -
4 one Body and one Rua, as you also were called in one expectation of your calling,
5 one Aon, one belief, one immersion,
6 one Elohim and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But to each one of us favour was given according to the measure of the gift of Mashia.
8 That is why it says, “When He went up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.”
9 But what does “He went up” mean, except that He also first went down into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He who went down is also the One who went up far above all the shamayim, to fill all.
11 And He Himself gave some as emissaries, and some as nei’im, and some as evangelists, and some as shepherds and teachers
12 for the perfecting of the qodeshim, to the work of service to a building up of the Body of ha’Mashia,
13 until we all come to the unity of the belief and of the knowledge of the Bĕn of YAHUAH, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the completeness of Mashia,
14 so that we should no longer be children, tossed and borne about by every wind of teaching, by the trickery of men, unto the craftiness of leading astray,
15 but, maintaining the truth in love, we grow up in all respects into Him who is the head, Mashia,
16 from whom the entire Body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the working by which each part does its share, causes growth of the Body for the building up of itself in love.
17 So this I say, and witness in the Aon, that you should no longer walk as the gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind,
18 having been darkened in their understanding, having been estranged from the ai of Elohim, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart,
19 who, having become callous, have given themselves up to indecency, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But you have not so learned Mashia,
21 if indeed you have heard Him and were taught by Him, as truth is in YAHUSHA:
22 that you put off - with regard to your former behaviour - the old man, being corrupted according to the desires of the deceit,
23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24 and that you put on the renewed man which was created according to Elohim, in righteousness and qodeshah of the truth.
25 Therefore, having put off the false, speak truth, each one with his neighbour, for we are members of one another.
26 “Be wroth, but do not sin.” Do not let the sun go down on your rage,
27 nor give place to the devil.
28 Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labour, working with his hands what is good, so that he has to share with those in need.
29 Let no corrupt word come out of your mouth, but only such as is good for the use of building up, so as to impart what is pleasant to the hearers.
30 And do not grieve the Rua ha’Qodesh of Elohim, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and displeasure, and uproar, and slander be put away from you, along with all evil.
32 And be kind towards one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as YAHUAH also forgave you in Mashia.

EPH’SIYIM
Ephesians 4

09/07/25

In the beginning Elohim created the shamayim and the earth.
2 And the earth came to be formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Rua of Elohim was moving on the face of the waters.
3 And Elohim said, “Let light come to be,” and light came to be.
4 And Elohim saw the light, that it was good. And Elohim separated the light from the darkness.
5 And Elohim called the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, day one.
6 And Elohim said, “Let an expanse come to be in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.”
7 And Elohim made the expanse, and separated the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse. And it came to be so.
8 And Elohim called the expanse ‘shamayim.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the second day.
9 And Elohim said, “Let the waters under the shamayim be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it came to be so.
10 And Elohim called the dry land ‘earth,’ and the collection of the waters He called ‘seas.’ And Elohim saw that it was good.
11 And Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the plant that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth.” And it came to be so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, the plant that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good.
13 And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the third day.
14 And Elohim said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse of the shamayim to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and Appointed Times, and for days and years,
15 and let them be for lights in the expanse of the shamayim to give light on the earth.” And it came to be so.
16 And Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night, and the stars.
17 And Elohim placed them in the expanse of the shamayim to give light on the earth,
18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good.
19 And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fourth day.
20 And Elohim said, “Let the waters teem with shoals of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth on the face of the expanse of the shamayim.”
21 And Elohim created great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters teemed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good.
22 And Elohim bara them, saying, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.”
23 And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fifth day.
24 And Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: livestock and creeping creatures and beasts of the earth, according to its kind.” And it came to be so.
25 And Elohim made the beast of the earth according to its kind, livestock according to its kind, and all that creep on the earth according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good.
26 And Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the shamayim, and over the livestock, and over all the earth and over all the creeping creatures that creep on the earth.”
27 And Elohim created the man in His image, in the image of Elohim He created him - male and female He created them.
28 And Elohim bara them, and Elohim said to them, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the shamayim, and over all creatures moving on the earth.”
29 And Elohim said, “See, I have given you every plant that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed, to you it is for food.
30 “And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the shamayim, and to every creeping creature on the earth, in which there is breath of life, every green plant is for food.” And it came to be so.
31 And Elohim saw all that He had made, and see, it was very good. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the sixth day.

BERĔSHITH
Genesis 1

09/06/25

Thus said YAHUAH, “The shamayim are My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is this house that you build for Me? And where is this place of My rest?
2 “And all these My hand has made, and all these that exist,” declares YAHUAH. “Yet to such a one I look: on him who is poor and bruised of spirit, and who trembles at My Word.
3 “Whoever slaughters the bull slays a man; whoever slaughters the lamb breaks a dog’s neck; whoever brings a grain offering - pig’s blood; whoever burns incense bara an idol. Indeed, they have chosen their own ways, and their being delights in their abominations.
4 “I shall also choose their punishments, and bring their fears on them. Because I called, but no one answered. I spoke and they did not hear, and they did evil before My eyes, and chose what was displeasing to Me.”
5 Hear the Word of YAHUAH, you who tremble at His Word, “Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for My Name’s sake, said, ‘Let YAHUAH be esteemed, so that we see your joy.’ But they are put to shame.”
6 “A roaring sound from the city, a voice from the Hĕyal, the voice of YAHUAH, repaying His enemies!
7 “Before she laboured, she gave birth; before a pain came to her, she was delivered of a male child.
8 “Who has heard the like of this? Who has seen the like of these? Is a land brought forth in one day? Is a nation born at once? For as soon as Tsiyon laboured, she gave birth to her children.
9 “Shall I bring to birth, and not give delivery?” says YAHUAH. “Shall I who give delivery restrain birth?” said your Elohim.
10 “Rejoice with Yerushalayim, and be glad with her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn for her;
11 so that you feed, and shall be satisfied with the breast of her comforts, so that you drink deeply, and shall delight yourselves in her overflowing esteem.”
12 For thus said YAHUAH, “See, I am extending peace to her like a river, and the esteem of the gentiles like a flowing stream. And you shall feed; you shall be carried on the side, and be fondled on her knees.”
13 “As one whom his mother comforts, so I comfort you. And in Yerushalayim you are comforted.”
14 “And you shall see, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones flourish as tender grass. And the hand of YAHUAH shall be known to His servants, and His displeasure to His enemies.
15 “For look, YAHUAH comes with fire and with His chariots, like a whirlwind, to render His displeasure with burning, and His rebuke with flames of fire.
16 “For by fire and by His sword YAHUAH shall judge all flesh, and the slain of YAHUAH shall be many -
17 those who qadosh themselves and cleanse themselves at the gardens after ‘one’ in the midst, eating flesh of pigs and the abomination and the mouse, come to an end, altogether,” declares YAHUAH.
18 “And I, because of their works and their imaginations, am coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My esteem.
19 “And I shall appoint a sign among them, and shall send some of those who escape to the nations - Tarshish and Pul and Lu, who draw the bow, and Tual and Yawan, the coastlands far off who have not heard My report nor seen My esteem. And they shall declare My esteem among the gentiles.
20 “And they shall bring all your brothers as an offering to YAHUAH out of all the gentiles, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My qodesh mountain Yerushalayim,” declares YAHUAH, “as the children of Yisra’ĕl bring an offering in a clean vessel into the House of YAHUAH.
21 “And from them too I shall take for kohenim - for Lĕwites,” declares YAHUAH.
22 “For as the new shamayim and the new earth that I make stand before Me,” declares YAHUAH, “so your seed and your name shall stand.
23 “And it shall be that from New Moon to New Moon, and from Shabbath to Shabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” declares YAHUAH.
24 “And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me. For their worm shall not die, and their fire not be quenched. And they shall be repulsive to all flesh!”

YESHAYAHU
Isaiah 66

09/04/25

“I have let Myself be inquired of, not by those who asked; I was found, not by those who sought Me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’ to a nation not calling on My Name.
2 “I have held out My hands all day long to a stubborn people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;
3 the people who provoke Me continually to My face, who slaughter in gardens, and burn incense on altars of brick;
4 who sit among the graves, and spend the night in secret places, who eat flesh of pigs, and the broth of uncleanness is in their pots,
5 who say, ‘Keep to yourself, do not come near me, for I am qodesh to you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all day.
6 “See, it is written before Me: I am not silent, but shall repay, and I shall repay into their bosom,
7 your wickednesses and the wickednesses of your fathers together,” said YAHUAH, “who burned incense on the mountains and reproached Me on the hills. And I shall measure their former work into their bosom.”
8 Thus said YAHUAH, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one shall say, ‘Do not destroy it, for there is beraah in it,’ so I do for My servants’ sake, not to destroy them all.
9 “And I shall bring forth a seed from Ya’aqo, and from Yahuah an heir of My mountains. And My chosen ones shall inherit it, and My servants dwell there.
10 “And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the Valley of Aor a place for herds to lie down, for My people who have sought Me.
11 “But you are those who forsake YAHUAH, who forget My qodesh mountain, who prepare a table for Ga, and who fill a drink offering for Meni.
12 “And I shall allot you to the sword, and let you all bow down to the slaughter, because I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not hear, and you did evil before My eyes and chose that in which I did not delight.”
13 Therefore thus said the Aon YAHUAH, “See, My servants eat, but you hunger; see, My servants drink, but you thirst; see, My servants rejoice, but you are put to shame;
14 see, My servants sing for joy of heart, but you cry for sorrow of heart, and wail for breaking of spirit.
15 “And you shall leave your name as a curse to My chosen, for the Aon YAHUAH shall put you to death, and call His servants by another name,
16 so that he who bara himself in the earth, bara himself in the Elohim of truth. And he who swears in the earth swears by the Elohim of truth. Because the former distresses shall be forgotten, and because they shall be hidden from My eyes.
17 “For look, I am creating new shamayim and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to heart.
18 “But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for look, I create Yerushalayim a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 “And I shall rejoice in Yerushalayim, and shall joy in My people, and let the voice of weeping no more be heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 “No more is an infant from there going to live but a few days, nor an old man who does not complete his days, for the youth dies one hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old shall be lightly esteemed.
21 “And they shall build houses and inhabit them, and plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 “They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat. For the days of My people are going to be as the days of a tree, and My chosen ones outlive the work of their hands.
23 “They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble. For they are the seed of the baru of YAHUAH, and their offspring with them.
24 “And it shall be that before they call, I answer. And while they are still speaking, I hear.
25 “Wolf and lamb feed together, a lion eats straw as an ox, and dust is the snake’s food. They shall do no evil, nor destroy in all My qodesh mountain,” said YAHUAH.

YESHAYAHU
Isaiah 65

09/03/25

“Hear this, O house of Ya’aqo, who are called by the name of Yisra’ĕl, and have come from the waters of Yahuah, who swear by the Name of YAHUAH, and profess the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl - but not in truth or in righteousness -
2 for they call themselves after the qodesh city, and lean on the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl - YAHUAH of hosts is His Name:
3 “I have declared the former from the beginning, and they went forth from My mouth, and I made you hear them. Suddenly I acted, and they came to be.
4 “Because I knew that you were hard, and your neck was an iron sinew, and your forehead bronze,
5 therefore I declared it to you long ago. Before it came I made you hear, lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them, and my carved image and my moulded image commanded them.’
6 “You have heard, look at them all. And do you not declare it? From now on I shall make you hear new ones, even hidden ones, which you have not known.
7 “Now they shall be created and not long ago. And before this day you have not heard them, lest you should say, ‘Look, I knew them.’
8 “No, you have not heard; no, you have not known; no, from of old your ear has not been open. Because I knew that you are indeed treacherous, and are called ‘a transgressor from the womb.’
9 “For My Name’s sake I postponed My displeasure, and for My praise I held it back from you, so as not to cut you off.
10 “See, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
11 “For My own sake, for My own sake, I do it. For how is it profaned? And My esteem I do not give to another.
12 “Listen to Me, O Ya’aqo, and Yisra’ĕl, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last.
13 “Also, My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has stretched out the shamayim. I call to them, let them stand together.
14 “All of you, gather yourselves, and hear! Who among them has declared these? YAHUAH has loved him. Let him do His pleasure on Bael, and His arm be on the Kasdites.
15 “I, I have spoken, I have also called him, I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
16 “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, I was there. And now the Aon YAHUAH has sent Me, and His Rua.”
17 Thus said YAHUAH, your Redeemer, the Qadosh One of Yisra’ĕl, “I am YAHUAH your Elohim, teaching you what is best, leading you by the way you should go.
18 “If only you had listened to My Commands! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
19 “And your seed would have been like the sand, and the offspring of your inward parts like the grains of sand. His name would not have been cut off nor destroyed from before Me.
20 “Come out of Bael! Flee from the Kasdites! Declare this with a voice of singing, proclaim it, send it out to the end of the earth! Say, ‘YAHUAH has redeemed His servant Ya’aqo!’ ”
21 And they did not thirst when He led them through the deserts; He caused waters from a rock to flow for them; He split the rock, and waters gushed out.
22 “There is no peace for the wicked,” said YAHUAH.”

YESHAYAHU
Isaiah 48

09/02/25

Hear me your father, O children, and do accordingly, that you may be safe.
2 For YAHUAH has given the father esteem over the children, And has confirmed the authority of the mother over the sons.
3 Whoever esteems his father makes an atonement for his sins;
4 And he who esteems his mother is as one who stores up treasure.
5 Whoever esteems his father shall have joy from his own children; And when he makes his prayer, he shall be heard.
6 He who esteems his father shall have a long life; And he who is obedient to YAHUAH shall be a comfort to his mother.
7 He who reveres YAHUAH shall esteem his father, And shall do service unto his parents, as to his masters.
8 Esteem your father and mother both in word and deed, That a beraḵah may come upon you from them.
9 For the beraḵah of the father establishes the houses of children; But the curse of the mother roots out foundations.
10 Do not rejoice in the shame of your father; For your father’s shame is no esteem unto you.
11 For the esteem of a man is from the esteem of his father; And a mother in shame is a reproach to the children.
12 My son, help your father in his age, And do not grieve him as long as he lives.
13 And if his understanding fails, have patience with him; And do not despise him when you are in your full strength.
14 For the relief for your father shall not be forgotten; And instead of sin, it shall be added to build you up.
15 In the day of your affliction it shall be remembered; Your sins also shall melt away, as the ice in the fair warm weather.
16 He who forsakes his father is as a blasphemer; And he who displeases his mother is cursed of Elohim.
17 My son, go on with your business in meekness; So you shall be beloved of He who approves.
18 The greater you are, the more you humble yourself, And you shall find favour before YAHUAH.
19 Many are in high places, and of name; But mysteries are revealed to the meek.
20 For the power of YAHUAH is great, And He is esteemed by the lowly.
21 Do not search out that which is too hard for you, Neither seek that which is above your strength.
22 But what is Commanded, think upon this with reverence, For it is not necessary for you to see with your eyes that which is secret.
23 Do not be curious in unnecessary matters: For more is revealed to you than men understand.
24 For many are deceived by their own worthless opinion; And evil suspicion has overthrown their judgment.
25 Without eyes there is no light; Do not profess the knowledge which you do not have.
26 A stubborn heart shall suffer evil in the end; And he who loves danger shall perish in it.
27 A hard heart shall be loaded with sorrows; And the wicked man shall heap sin upon sin.
28 In the punishment of the proud there is no remedy; For the plant of wickedness has taken root in him.
29 The heart of the clever shall understand a parable; And an attentive ear is the desire of a wise man.
30 Water shall quench a flaming fire; And kind deeds make an atonement for sins.
31 And he who repays good deeds remembers that which may come after; And when he falls, he shall find a support.

ECCLESIASTICUS
SIRACH 3

09/01/25

Thus said YAHUAH to His anointed, to Koresh, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and ungird the loins of sovereigns, to open before him the double doors, so that gates are not shut:
2 ‘I go before you and make the crooked places straight; I shatter the gates of bronze and cut down the bars of iron.
3 ‘And I shall give you the treasures of darkness and hoarded wealth of secret places, so that you know that I, YAHUAH, who are calling you by your name, am the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl.
4 ‘For the sake of Ya’aqo My servant, and of Yisra’ĕl My chosen, I also call you by your name, I give you a title, though you have not known Me.
5 ‘I am YAHUAH, and there is none else - there are no mighty ones besides Me. I gird you, though you have not known Me,
6 so that they know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none but Me. I am YAHUAH, and there is none else,
7 forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil. I, YAHUAH, do all these.’
8 “Rain down, O shamayim, from above, and let clouds pour down righteousness. Let the earth open, let them bring forth deliverance, and let righteousness spring up together. I, YAHUAH, have created it.
9 “Woe to him who strives with his Maker! - a potsherd with the potsherds of the earth. Does clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ Or your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?
10 “Woe to him who says to his father, ‘What are you bringing forth?’ Or to the woman, ‘What are you labouring over?’ ”
11 Thus said YAHUAH, the Qadosh One of Yisra’ĕl, and his Maker, “Do you ask Me about My sons what is to come? And about the work of My hands do you command Me?
12 “I have made the earth, and created man on it. I, My hands have stretched out the shamayim, and all their host I have commanded.
13 “I have stirred him up in righteousness, and all his ways I make straight. He builds My city and lets My exiles go, not for price nor reward,” declares YAHUAH of hosts.
14 Thus said YAHUAH, “The labour of Mitsrayim and merchandise of Kush and of the Sea’ites, men of size, come over to you and they are yours. They walk behind you, they come over in chains, and they bow down to you. They make supplication to you, saying, ‘Indeed, Ĕl is in you, and there is none else, no mighty one.’ ”
15 Truly You are Ĕl, who hides Yourself, O Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, Saviour!
16 They shall be put to shame, and even be humiliated, all of them - the makers of idols shall go away together in humiliation.
17 Yisra’ĕl shall be saved by YAHUAH with an everlasting deliverance. You are not to be ashamed nor hurt, forever and ever.
18 For thus said YAHUAH, Creator of the shamayim, He is Elohim, Former of earth and its Maker, He established it, He did not create it to be empty, He formed it to be inhabited: “I am YAHUAH, and there is none else.
19 “I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth. I have not said to the seed of Ya’aqo, ‘Seek Me in vain.’ I am YAHUAH, speaking righteousness, declaring matters that are straight.
20 “Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, you who have escaped from the gentiles. No knowledge have they who are lifting up the wood of their carved image, and pray to a mighty one that does not save.
21 “Declare and bring near, let them even take counsel together. Who has announced this from of old? Who has declared it from that time? Is it not I, YAHUAH? And there is no mighty one besides Me, a righteous Ĕl and a Saviour, there is none besides Me.
22 “Turn to Me and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am Ĕl, and there is none else.
23 “I have sworn by Myself, a word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, so that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue swear.
24 “One shall say, ‘Only in YAHUAH do I have righteousness and strength’ - he comes to Him. And all those displeased with Him shall be put to shame.
25 “In YAHUAH all the seed of Yisra’ĕl shall be declared right and boast.”

YESHAYAHU
Isaiah 45

08/31/25

And all the days that Ḥanoḵ lived upon earth, were three hundred and sixty-five years.
2 And when Ḥanoḵ had gone up into the shamayim, all the sovereigns of the earth rose and took Methushelaḥ his son and anointed him, and they caused him to reign over them in the place of his father.
3 And Methushelaḥ acted uprightly in the sight of Elohim, as his father Ḥanoḵ had taught him, and he likewise, during the whole of his life, taught the sons of men wisdom, knowledge and the reverence of Elohim, and he did not turn from the good Way either to the right or to the left.
4 But in the latter days of Methushelaḥ, the sons of men turned from YAHUAH, they corrupted the earth, they robbed and plundered each other, and they rebelled against Elohim and they transgressed, and they corrupted their ways, and would not listen to the voice of Methushelaḥ, but rebelled against him.
5 And YAHUAH was exceedingly wroth against them, and YAHUAH continued to destroy the seed in those days, so that there was neither sowing nor reaping in the earth.
6 For when they sowed the ground in order that they might obtain food for their support, see, thorns and thistles were produced which they did not sow.
7 And still the sons of men did not turn from their evil ways, and their hands were still extended to do evil in the sight of Elohim, and they provoked YAHUAH with their evil ways, and YAHUAH was very wroth, and was sorry that he had made man.
8 And he thought to destroy and annihilate them, and he did so.
9 In those days when Lemeḵ son of Methushelaḥ was one hundred and sixty years old, Shĕth son of Aḏam died.
10 And all the days that Shĕth lived, were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.
11 And Lemeḵ was one hundred and eighty years old when he took Ashmua, the daughter of Elishua son of Ḥanoḵ his uncle, and she conceived.
12 And at that time the sons of men sowed the ground, and a little food was produced, yet the sons of men did not turn from their evil ways, and they trespassed and rebelled against Elohim.
13 And the wife of Lemeḵ conceived and bore him a son at that time, at the turn of the year.
14 And Methushelaḥ called his name Noaḥ, saying, “In his days the earth was at rest and free from corruption.” And Lemeḵ, his father called his name Menaḥĕm, saying, “This one shall comfort us in our works and miserable toil in the earth,” which Elohim had cursed.
15 And the child grew up and was weaned, and he went in the Ways of his father Methushelaḥ, perfect and upright with Elohim.
16 And all the sons of men departed from the Ways of YAHUAH in those days as they multiplied upon the face of the earth with sons and daughters, and they taught one another their evil practices and they continued sinning against YAHUAH.
17 And every man made for himself a mighty one, and they robbed and plundered every man, his neighbour as well as his relative, and they corrupted the earth, and the earth was filled with violence.
18 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the birds of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order to provoke YAHUAH by it. And Elohim saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways on earth, all men and all animals.
19 And YAHUAH said, “I will blot out man that I created from the face of the earth, from man to the birds of the air, together with cattle and beasts that are in the field for I am sorry that I made them.”
20 And all men who walked in the Ways of YAHUAH died in those days, before YAHUAH brought the evil upon man which He had declared, for this was from YAHUAH, that they should not see the evil which YAHUAH spoke of concerning the sons of men.
21 And Noaḥ found favour in the sight of YAHUAH, and YAHUAH chose him and his children to raise up seed from them upon the face of the whole earth.

YASHAR
Jasher 4

08/30/25

Then Yahusha was led up by the Ruaḥ into the wilderness to be tried by the devil.
2 And after having fasted forty days and forty nights, He was hungry.
3 And the trier came and said to Him, “If You are the Bĕn of YAHUAH, command that these stones become bread.”
4 But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of YAHUAH.’ ”
5 Then the devil took Him up into the qodesh city, put Him on the edge of the Miqdash,
6 and said to Him, “If You are the Bĕn of YAHUAH, throw Yourself down. For it has been written, ‘He shall command His messengers concerning you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, so that you do not dash your foot against a stone.’ ”
7 Yahusha said to him, “It has also been written, ‘You shall not try YAHUAH your Elohim.’ ”
8 Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain, and showed Him all the reigns of the world, and their esteem,
9 and said to Him, “All these I shall give You if You fall down and worship me.”
10 Then Yahusha said to him, “Go, Satan! For it has been written, ‘You shall worship YAHUAH your Elohim, and Him alone you shall serve.’ ”
11 Then the devil left Him, and see, messengers came and attended Him.
12 And Yahusha, having heard that Yoḥanan had been put in prison, withdrew into Galil.
13 And leaving Natsareth, He came and dwelt in Kephar Naḥum, which is by the sea, in the borders of Zeḇulun and Naphtali,
14 to fill what was spoken by Yeshayahu the naḇi, saying,
15 “Land of Zeḇulun and land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond the Yardĕn, Galil of the gentiles -
16 the people who sat in darkness saw a great light, and upon those who sat in the land and shadow of death, light arose to them.”
17 From that time Yahusha began to proclaim and to say, “Repent, for the reign of the shamayim has drawn near.”
18 And Yahusha, walking by the Sea of Galil, saw two brothers, Shim’on called Kĕpha, and Andri his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
19 And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I shall make you fishers of men.”
20 And immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
21 And going on from there, He saw two other brothers, Ya’aqoḇ of Zaḇdai, and Yoḥanan his brother, in the boat with Zaḇdai their father, mending their nets. And He called them,
22 and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.
23 And Yahusha went about all Galil, teaching in their congregations, and proclaiming the Good News of the reign, and healing every disease and every bodily weakness among the people.
24 And news about Him went out into all Suria. And they brought to Him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and pains, and those who were demon-possessed, and epileptics, and paralytics. And He healed them.
25 And large crowds - from Galil, and Dekapolis, and Yerushalayim, and Yahuḏah, and beyond the Yardĕn - followed Him.

MATTIHYAHU
Matthew 4

08/28/25

HalleluYah! Oh, give thanks to YAHUAH, For He is good! For His kindness is everlasting.
2 Who relates the mighty acts of YAHUAH? Or declare all His praise?
3 Baruḵ are those who guard Right-Ruling, Who do righteousness at all times!
4 Remember me, O YAHUAH, in the acceptance of Your people; Visit me with Your deliverance,
5 To see the good of Your chosen ones, To rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, To make my boast with Your inheritance.
6 We have sinned with our fathers, We have acted perversely, We have done wickedly.
7 Our fathers in Mitsrayim did not understand Your wonders; They did not remember Your many kindnesses, But rebelled by the sea, the Sea of Reeds.
8 But He saved them for His Name’s sake, To make known His might.
9 And He rebuked the Sea of Reeds, and it dried up; And He led them through the depths, Through a wilderness.
10 And He saved them from the hand of the hater, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11 And waters covered their adversaries; Not one of them was left.
12 Then they believed His words; They sang His praise.
13 They soon forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel,
14 But greedily lusted in the wilderness, And tried Ĕl in the desert.
15 And He gave them their request, But sent leanness within their being.
16 And they were jealous of Mosheh in the camp, Of Aharon, the qodeshi of YAHUAH,
17 The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan, And covered the company of Aḇiram.
18 And a fire burned in their company; A flame consumed the wicked.
19 They made a calf in Ḥorĕḇ, And bowed down to a moulded image.
20 Thus they changed My esteem Into the form of an ox that eats grass.
21 They forgot Ĕl their Saviour, The Doer of greatness in Mitsrayim,
22 Of wonders in the land of Ḥam, Of fear by the Sea of Reeds.
23 Then He said that He would destroy them, Had not Mosheh His chosen one stood before Him in the breach, To turn away His wrath from destroying.
24 They then despised the pleasant land; They did not believe His word,
25 And they grumbled in their tents, They did not listen to the voice of YAHUAH.
26 So He lifted up His hand against them, To make them fall in the wilderness,
27 And to make their seed fall among the gentiles, And to scatter them in the lands.
28 And they joined themselves to Ba’al Pe’or, And ate slaughterings made to the dead.
29 Thus they provoked Him with their deeds, And the plague broke out among them.
30 Then Pineḥas stood up and intervened, And the plague was stopped.
31 And that was reckoned to him for righteousness, To all generations forever.
32 And they provoked wrath at the waters of Meriḇah, And Mosheh suffered on account of them;
33 Because they embittered his spirit, And he spoke rashly with his lips.
34 They did not destroy the peoples, As YAHUAH had commanded them,
35 But mixed with the gentiles And learned their works,
36 And served their idols, And they became a snare to them.
37 And they slaughtered their sons And their daughters to demons,
38 And they shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and daughters, Whom they offered to the idols of Kena’an; And the land was defiled with blood.
39 So they became unclean by their own works, And went whoring by their own deeds.
40 And the wrath of YAHUAH burned against His people, And He loathed His own inheritance.
41 Then He gave them into the hand of the gentiles, And those who hated them ruled over them.
42 And their enemies oppressed them, And they were humbled under their hand.
43 Many times He delivered them; But they rebelled in their plans, So they were brought low for their wickedness.
44 But He would look on their distress, When He heard their cry,
45 And remember His Covenant for their sake, And relent according to the greatness of His kindness.
46 And He would let them find compassion, Before all those holding them captive.
47 Save us, O YAHUAH our Elohim, And gather us from among the gentiles, To give thanks to Your qodesh Name, To exult in Your praise.
48 Baruḵ be YAHUAH Elohim of Yisra’ĕl From everlasting to everlasting! And all the people shall say, “Amĕn!” Hallelu-Yah!

TEHILLIM
Psalm 106

08/26/25

I swear unto you that in the shamayim the messengers remember you for good before the esteem of the Great One, and your names are written before the esteem of the Great One.
2 Have expectancy; for beforehand you were put to shame through ill and affliction; but now you shall shine as the lights of the shamayim, you shall shine and you shall be seen, and the doors of the shamayim shall be opened to you.
3 And in your cry, cry for judgment, and it shall appear to you; for all your tribulation shall be visited on the rulers, and on all who helped those who plundered you.
4 Have expectancy, and do not cast away your expectancies, for you shall have great joy as the messengers of the shamayim.
5 What shall you be obliged to do? You shall not have to hide on the day of the great judgment and you shall not be found as sinners, and the eternal judgment shall be far from you for all the generations of the world.
6 And now, do not fear you righteous, when you see the sinners growing strong and prospering in their ways. Do not be companions with them, but keep far from their violence; for you shall become companions of the hosts of the shamayim.
7 And, although you sinners say, “All our sins shall not be searched out and be written down,” nevertheless they shall write down all your sins every day.
8 And now I show unto you that light and darkness, day and night, see all your sins.
9 Do not be wicked in your hearts, and do not lie and do not alter the Words of uprightness, nor charge with lying the Words of the Qodesh Great One, nor take account of your idols; for all your lying and all your wickedness do not come forth in righteousness but in great sin.
10 And now I know this mystery, that sinners will change and pervert the Words of righteousness in many ways, and will speak wicked words, and lie, and practice great deceits, and write books concerning their words.
11 But when they write down truthfully all my words in their languages, and do not change or diminish ought from my words but write them all down truthfully - all that I first witnessed concerning them.
12 Then, I know another mystery, that books will be given to the righteous and the wise to become a cause of joy and uprightness and much wisdom.
13 “And to them shall the books be given, and they shall believe in them and rejoice over them, and then all the righteous who have learned from them - all the paths of uprightness - shall be recompensed.”

“Woe to those making unrighteous decrees, writers who have prescribed toil,
2 to keep the needy back from right-ruling, and to take what is right from the poor of My people, that widows become their prey, and orphans their plunder.
3 “What shall you do in the day of visitation, and in the ruin which comes from afar? To whom would you run for help? And where would you leave your wealth?
4 “Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners, and fall among the slain.” With all this His displeasure has not turned back, and His hand is still stretched out.
5 “Woe to Ashshur, the rod of My displeasure and the staff in whose hand is My displeasure.
6 “Against a defiled nation I send him, and against the people of My wrath I command him to seize the spoil, to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mud of the streets.
7 “But he does not intend so, nor does his heart think so, for it is in his heart to destroy, and cut off not a few nations.
8 “For he says, ‘Are not my princes sovereigns?
9 ‘Is not Kalno like Karkemish? Is not Ḥamath like Arpaḏ? Is not Shomeron like Dammeseq?
10 ‘As my hand has found the reigns of the idols, whose carved images excelled those of Yerushalayim and Shomeron,
11 as I have done to Shomeron and her idols, do I not do also to Yerushalayim and her idols?’
12 “And it shall be, when YAHUAH has performed all His work on Mount Tsiyon and on Yerushalayim, that I shall punish the fruit of the greatness of the heart of the sovereign of Ashshur, and the boasting of his haughty looks.
13 “For he has said, ‘By the power of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom, for I have been clever. And I remove the boundaries of the people, and have robbed their treasuries. And I put down the inhabitants like a strong one.
14 ‘And my hand finds the riches of the people like a nest. And I have gathered all the earth like forsaken eggs are gathered. And there was no one who moved his wing, nor opened his mouth with even a peep.’ ”
15 Would the axe boast itself over him who chops with it, or the saw exalt itself over him who saws with it? As a rod waving those who lift it up! As a staff lifting up that which is not wood!
16 Therefore the Aḏon, YAHUAH of hosts, sends leanness among his fat ones. And under his esteem he kindles a burning like the burning of a fire.
17 And the Light of Yisra’ĕl shall be for a fire, and his Qadosh One for a flame. And it shall burn and devour his weeds and his thornbushes in one day,
18 and consume the esteem of his forest and of his fertile field, both life and flesh. And they shall be as when a sick man wastes away,
19 and the remaining trees of his forest shall be so few in number that a child records them.
20 And in that day it shall be that the remnant of Yisra’ĕl, and those who have escaped of the house of Ya’aqoḇ, never again lean upon him who smote them, but shall lean upon YAHUAH, the Qadosh One of Yisra’ĕl, in truth.
21 A remnant shall return, the remnant of Ya’aqoḇ, to the Mighty Ĕl.
22 For though your people, O Yisra’ĕl, be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return - a decisive end, overflowing righteousness.
23 For the Aḏon YAHUAH of hosts is making a complete end, as decided, in the midst of all the earth.
24 Therefore thus said the Aḏon YAHUAH of hosts, “My people, who dwell in Tsiyon, be not afraid of Ashshur, who beats you with a rod and lifts up his staff against you, in the way of Mitsrayim.
25 “For yet a little while and the displeasure shall be completed, and My displeasure be to their destruction.”
26 And YAHUAH of hosts stirs up a lash for him as the smiting of Miḏyan at the rock of Orĕḇ. And as His rod was on the sea, so shall He lift it up in the way of Mitsrayim.
27 And in that day it shall be that his burden is removed from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
28 He has come upon Ayath, he has passed Miḡron. At Miḵmash he stored his supplies.
29 They have gone through the pass, they have taken up lodging at Geḇa. Ramah is afraid, Giḇ’ah of Sha’ul has fled.
30 Lift up your voice, O daughter of Gallim! Listen, Layishah - O poor Anathoth!
31 Maḏmĕnah has fled, the inhabitants of Gĕḇim sought refuge.
32 Yet he remains at Noḇ that day; he shakes his fist at the mountain of the daughter of Tsiyon, the hill of Yerushalayim.
33 Look, the Aḏon, YAHUAH of hosts, is lopping off a branch with an awesome crash, and the tall ones are cut down, and the lofty ones are laid low.
34 And He shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Leḇanon shall fall as a mighty one!

ISAIAH 10

A Prayer of Yahoshua the son of Sira.

1 I thank you, O Aḏon and Sovereign, And praise You, O Elohim my Saviour; I give praise to Your Name;
2 For You are my Defender and Helper, And have preserved my body from destruction, And from the snare of the slanderous tongue, And from the lips that forge lies, And have been my Helper against my adversaries;
3 And have delivered me, according to the multitude of Your kindnesses and greatness of Your Name, From the teeth of those who were ready to devour me, And out of the hands of those who sought after my life, And from the great afflictions which I had;
4 From the choking fire on every side, And from the midst of the fire which I did not kindle;
5 From the depth of the inward parts of She’ol, From an unclean tongue, and from lying words.
6 By an accusation to the sovereign from an unrighteous tongue, My being drew near unto death, My life was near to She’ol beneath.
7 They surrounded me on every side, And there was no one to help me. I looked for the support of men, but there was none.
8 Then I thought upon Your favour, O YAHUAH, And upon Your acts of old, How You save those who wait on You, And save them out of the hands of their enemies.
9 Then I lifted up my supplications from the earth, And prayed for deliverance from death,
10 I called upon Aḏonai YAHUAH, the Father, That He would not leave me in the days of my trouble, And in the time of the proud, when there was no help.
11 I praise Your Name continually, And sing praises with thanksgiving; And so my prayer is heard.
12 For You saved me from destruction, And delivered me from the evil time; Therefore I thank and praise You, And baraḵ Your Name, O YAHUAH!
13 When I was still young, or if I ever went travelling, I desired wisdom openly in my prayer.
14 I prayed for her before the Hĕyḵal, And shall seek her to the end.
15 Even from the flower till the grape was ripe, My heart has delighted in her; My foot went the right way, From my youth upward I sought after her.
16 I bowed down my ear a little, and received her, And acquired much learning.
17 I profited in this, therefore I shall ascribe esteem to He who gives me wisdom.
18 For I purposed to go after her, And earnestly I followed that which is good; So I shall not be ashamed.
19 My being has wrestled with her, And in my doings I was exact. I stretched forth my hands to the shamayim above, And bewailed my ignorances of her.
20 I directed my being unto her, And I found her in pureness. I have had my heart joined with her from the beginning, Therefore I shall not be forsaken.
21 My heart was troubled in seeking her; Therefore I have received a good possession.
22 YAHUAH has given me a tongue for my reward, And I shall praise Him with it!
23 Draw near unto me, you unlearned, And dwell in the house of learning.
24 Why are you slow, and what do you say to these? Seeing your beings are very thirsty.
25 I opened my mouth, and said, “Acquire her for yourselves without silver.”
26 Put your neck under the yoke, and let your being receive instruction; She is found to be close at hand.
27 See with your eyes, how I have only little labour, And have received much rest.
28 Acquire learning with a great sum of silver, And get much gold by her.
29 Let your being rejoice in His kindness, And do not be ashamed of His praise.
30 Work your work early, And in His time He shall give you your reward.

Chapter 51

08/21/25

And Yahusha responded and spoke to them again by parables and said,
2 “The reign of the shamayim is like a man, a sovereign, who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast. But they would not come.
4 “Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Say to those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle are slaughtered, and all is ready. Come to the wedding feast.” ’
5 “But they disregarded it and went their way - this one to his field, that one to his trade.
6 “And the rest, having seized his servants, insulted and killed them.
7 “But when the sovereign heard, he was wroth, and sent out his soldiers, destroyed those murderers, and lit their city on fire.
8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast, indeed, is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
9 ‘Therefore go into the street corners, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding feast.’
10 “And those servants went out into the street corners and gathered all whom they found, both wicked and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11 “And when the sovereign came in to view the guests, he saw there a man who had not put on a wedding garment,
12 and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not having a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.
13 “Then the sovereign said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him out into the outer darkness - there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
15 Then the Pharisees went and plotted how to trap Him in His words.
16 And they sent to Him their talmidim with the Hĕrodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of Elohim in truth, and it does not concern You about anyone, for You are not partial to any man.
17 “Then say to us, what do You think? Is it right to pay taxes to Kaisar, or not?”
18 But knowing their wickedness, Yahusha said, “Why do you try Me, you hypocrites?
19 “Show Me the coin of the tax.” And they brought Him a silver piece.
20 And He said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?”
21 They said to Him, “Kaisar’s.” And He said to them, “Then give to Kaisar what is Kaisar’s, and to Elohim what is Elohim’s.”
22 And having heard, they marvelled, and left Him and went away.
23 On that day Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Him and asked Him,
24 saying, “Teacher, Mosheh said that if anyone should die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise offspring for his brother.
25 “And there were with us seven brothers, and the first died after he had married, and having no children, left his wife to his brother.
26 “In the same way the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
27 “And last of all the woman died too.
28 “At the resurrection, then, whose wife of the seven shall she be - for all had her?”
29 And Yahusha answering, said to them, “You go astray, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of Elohim.
30 “For in the resurrection they do not marry, nor are they given in marriage, but are as messengers of Elohim in the shamayim.
31 “And concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by Elohim, saying,
32 ‘I am the Elohim of Aḇraham, and the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Ya’aqoḇ’? YAHUAH is not the Elohim of the dead, but of the living.”
33 And when the crowds heard, they were astonished at His teaching.
34 But the Pharisees, having heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, were gathered together,
35 and one of them, one learned in the Torah, questioned, trying Him, and saying,
36 “Teacher, which is the great Command in the Torah?”
37 And Yahusha said to him, “‘You shall love YAHUAH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind.’
38 “This is first and great Command.
39 “And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’
40 “On these two Commands hang all the Torah and the Neḇi’im.”
41 And when the Pharisees were gathered together, Yahusha asked them,
42 saying, “What do you think concerning ha’Mashiaḥ? Whose Bĕn is He?” They said to Him, “Of Dawiḏ.”
43 He said to them, “Then how does Dawiḏ in the Ruaḥ call Him ‘Aḏoni,’ saying,
44 ‘YAHUAH said to Aḏoni, “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet” ’?
45 “If then Dawiḏ calls Him ‘Aḏoni,’ how is He his Bĕn?”
46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, and from that day on no one asked Him any more questions.

MATTIHYAHU
Matthew 22

08/19/25

Therefore, since Mashiaḥ suffered for you in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
2 so that he no longer lives the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but according to the desire of Elohim.
3 For enough of our past lifetime we have done the desire of the gentiles, having walked in indecencies, lusts, drunkenness, orgies, wild parties, and abominable idolatries,
4 in which they are surprised that you do not run with them in the same flood of loose behaviour, blaspheming,
5 who shall give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 For this reason the Good News was also brought to those who are dead, so that, whereas they are judged according to men in the flesh, they might live according to Elohim in the spirit.
7 But the end of all has drawn near. Therefore be sober-minded, and be attentive in the prayers.
8 And above all have fervent love for one another, because love covers a great number of sins.
9 Welcome one another without grumbling.
10 As each one has received a gift, serve one another, as good trustees of the manifold favour of Elohim.
11 If anyone speaks - as the Words of YAHUAH. If anyone serves - with the strength which Elohim provides, so that YAHUAH might be praised in it all through Yahusha ha’Mashiaḥ, to whom belong the esteem and the rule forever and ever. Amĕn.
12 Beloved ones, do not be surprised at the fiery trial that is coming upon you, to try you, as though some unusual matter has befallen you,
13 but as you share Mashiaḥ’s sufferings, rejoice, in order that you might rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His esteem.
14 If you are reproached for the Name of Mashiaḥ - baruḵ, because the Ruaḥ of esteem and of Elohim rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is praised.
15 For do not let any of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or doer of evil, or as a meddler.
16 But if being Mashiaḥiyim, let him not be ashamed, but let him esteem Elohim in this matter.
17 Because it is time for judgment to begin from the House of Elohim. And if firstly from us, what is the end of those who do not obey the Good News of Elohim?
18 And if the righteous one is scarcely saved, where shall the wicked and the sinner appear?
19 So then, those who suffer according to the desire of Elohim should commit their lives to a trustworthy Creator, in doing good.

08/18/25

1 The vision of Yeshayahu son of Amots, which he saw concerning Yahuḏah and Yerushalayim in the days of Uzziyahu, Yotham, Aḥaz, Ḥizqiyahu - sovereigns of Yahuḏah.
2 Hear, O shamayim, and listen, O earth! For hWhY has spoken, “I have reared and brought up children, but they have transgressed against Me.
3 An ox knows its owner and a donkey its master’s crib - Yisra’ĕl does not know, My people have not understood.”
4 Alas, sinning nation, a people loaded with wickedness, a seed of evil-doers, sons acting corruptly! They have forsaken hWhY, they have provoked the Qadosh One of Yisra’ĕl, they went backward.
5 Why should you be beaten any more? You continue in apostasy! All the head is sick, and all the heart faints.
6 From the sole of the foot, to the head, there is no soundness in it - wounds and bruises and open sores; they have not been closed or bound up, or soothed with ointment.
7 Your land is laid waste, your cities are burned with fire, strangers devour your land in your presence. And it is laid waste, as overthrown by strangers.
8 And the daughter of Tsiyon is left as a booth in a vineyard, as a hut in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
9 Unless hWhY of hosts had left to us a small remnant, we would have become like Seḏom, we would have been made like Amorah.
10 Hear the word of hWhY, you rulers of Seḏom; give ear to the Torah of our Elohim, you people of Amorah!
11 “Of what use to Me are your many slaughterings?” declares hWhY. “I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs or goats.
12 “When you come to appear before Me, who has required this from your hand, to trample My courtyards?
13 “Stop bringing futile offerings, incense, it is an abomination to Me. New Moons, Shabbathoth, the calling of meetings - I am unable to bear unrighteousness and assembly.
14 “My being hates your new moons and your appointed times, they are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.
15 “And when you spread out your hands, I hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I do not hear. Your hands have become filled with blood.
16 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Stop doing evil!
17 “Learn to do good! Seek Right-Ruling, reprove the oppressor, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” says hWhY. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 “If you submit and obey, you shall eat the good of the land;
20 but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword,” for the mouth of hWhY has spoken.
21 How the steadfast city has become a whore! I have filled it with Right-Ruling; righteousness lodged in it, but now murderers.
22 Your silver has become dross, your wine is mixed with water.
23 Your rulers are stubborn, and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes, and runs after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, nor does the cause of the widow reach them.
24 Therefore the Aḏon declares, hWhY of hosts, Almighty of Yisra’ĕl, “Ah, I shall be eased of My adversaries, and I shall be avenged of My enemies.
25 “And I shall turn My hand against you, and shall refine your dross as with lye, and shall remove all your alloy.
26 “And I shall give back your judges as at the first, and your counsellors as at the beginning. After this you shall be called the city of righteousness, a steadfast city.”
27 Tsiyon shall be ransomed with right-ruling, and her returning ones with righteousness.
28 And the destruction of transgressors and of sinners is together, and those who forsake hWhY shall be consumed.
29 For they shall be ashamed of the terebinth trees which you have desired. And you shall be embarrassed because of the gardens which you have chosen.
30 For you shall be as a terebinth whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.
31 The strong shall be for tow, and his work for a spark. And both shall burn together, with no one to extinguish.

Chapter 2
1 My son, if you come to serve HWHY, Prepare your being for trial.
2 Prepare your heart, and constantly endure, And do not hasten in time of trouble.
3 Cling to Him, and do not depart, That you may be increased at your latter end.
4 Whatsoever is brought upon you, accept cheerfully, And be patient when you are brought low.
5 For gold is tried in the fire, And acceptable men in the furnace of adversity.
6 Believe in Him, and He shall help you; Establish your way, and trust in Him.
7 You who revere HWHY, wait for His kindness; And do not turn aside, lest you fall.
8 You who revere HWHY, believe Him; And your reward shall not fail.
9 You who revere HWHY, have expectancy for good, And for everlasting joy and kindness.
10 Look at the generations of old and see; Did any ever trust in HWHY, and were put to shame? Or did any remain in His reverence, and were forsaken? Or whom did He ever despise, that called upon Him?
11 For HWHY is full of compassion and kindness, Patient, and very tender-hearted, and forgives sins, And saves in time of affliction.
12 Woe unto fearful hearts, and faint hands, And the sinner that goes two ways!
13 Woe unto he who is fainthearted! For he is unbelieving; Therefore he shall not be defended.
14 Woe unto you that have lost patience! And what shall you do when HWHY shall punish you?
15 Those who HWHY shall not disobey His Word; And those who love Him guard His Ways.
16 Those who revere HWHY seek that which is well pleasing to Him; And those who love Him shall be filled with the Torah.
17 Those who revere prepare HWHY their hearts, And humble their beings in His sight,
18 Saying, “We shall fall into the hands of HWHY, and not into the hands of men; For as His excellence is, so is His kindness.”

40 To chief singer. A psalm of Dawiḏ.
1 I waited for hWhY; And He inclined to me, and heard my cry.
2 And He drew me Out of the pit of destruction, Out of the muddy clay, And He put my feet upon a rock, He is establishing my steps.
3 Then He put a new song in my mouth; Praise to our Alohym; Many see and revere, And trust in hWhY.
4 Baruḵ is that man who has made HWHY his trust, And has not turned to the proud, And those turning aside to falsehood.
5 O hWhY my Alohym, many are the wonders Which You have done, and Your purposes toward us; There is no one to compare with You; I declare and speak: They are too many to be numbered.
6 Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire? But a body You have prepared for Me; Burnt offering and sin offering You did not ask for?
7 Then I said, “See, I have come; In the scroll of the Book it is prescribed for me.
8 I have delighted to do Your pleasure, O my Alohym, And Your Torah is within my inward parts.”
9 I have proclaimed the Good News of righteousness, In the great assembly; See, I do not restrain my lips, O hWhY, You know.
10 I did not conceal Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your trustworthiness and Your deliverance; I did not hide Your kindness and Your truth From the great assembly.
11 Do not withhold Your compassion from me, O hWhY; Let Your kindness and Your truth always watch over me.
12 For evils without number have surrounded me; My wickednesses have overtaken me, And I have been unable to see; They became more than the hairs of my head; And my heart has failed me.
13 Be pleased, O hWhY, to deliver me; O hWhY, hasten to help me!
14 Let those who seek to destroy my life Be ashamed and abashed altogether; Let those who are desiring my evil Be driven back and put to shame.
15 Let those who say to me, “Aha, aha!” Be appalled at their own shame.
16 Let all those who seek You Rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your deliverance always say, “hWhY be exalted!”
17 But I am poor and needy; Let hWhY think upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; O my Alohym, do not delay!

TEHILLIM
Psalm 40

08/14/25

5 But when He saw the crowds, He went up on a mountain. And when He was seated His talmidim came to Him.
2 And having opened His mouth, He was teaching them, saying,
3 “Baruḵ are the poor in spirit, because theirs is the reign of the shamayim.
4 “Baruḵ are those who mourn, because they shall be comforted.
5 “Baruḵ are the meek, because they shall inherit the earth.
6 “Baruḵ are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, because they shall be filled.
7 “Baruḵ are the compassionate, because they shall obtain compassion.
8 “Baruḵ are the clean in heart, because they shall see hWhY.
9 “Baruḵ are the peacemakers, because they shall be called sons of hWhY.
10 “Baruḵ are those persecuted for righteousness’ sake, because theirs is the reign of the shamayim.
11 “Baruḵ are you when they reproach and persecute you, and falsely say every wicked word against you, for My sake.
12 “Rejoice and be glad, because your reward in the shamayim is great. For in this way they persecuted the neḇi’im who were before you.
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt becomes tasteless, how shall it be seasoned? For it is no longer of any use but to be thrown out and to be trodden down by men.
14 “You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city to be hidden on a mountain.
15 “Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines to all those in the house.
16 “Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works and praise your Father who is in the shamayim.
17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Neḇi’im. I did not come to destroy but to complete.
18 “For truly, I say to you, till the shamayim and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.
19 “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these Commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the shamayim; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the shamayim.
20 “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the shamayim.
21 “You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder,’ and whoever murders shall be liable to judgment.
22 “But I say to you that whoever is wroth with his brother without a cause shall be liable to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raka!’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be liable to fire of Gĕy-Hinnom.
23 “If, then, you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother holds whatever against you,
24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first make peace with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
25 “Be well-minded with your opponent, promptly, while you are on the way with him, lest your opponent deliver you to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
26 “Truly, I say to you, you shall by no means get out of there till you have paid the last quarter.
27 “You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’
28 “But I say to you that everyone looking at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
29 “And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gĕy-Hinnom.
30 “And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gĕy-Hinnom.
31 “And it has been said, ‘Whoever puts away his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’
32 “But I say to you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the matter of whoring, makes her commit adultery. And whoever marries a woman who has been put away commits adultery.
33 “Again, you heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to hWhY.’
34 “But I say to you, do not swear falsely at all, neither by the shamayim, because it is hWhY’s throne;
35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Yerushalayim, for it is the city of the great Sovereign;
36 nor swear by your head, because you are not able to make one hair white or black.
37 “But let your word ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ And what goes beyond these is from the wicked one.
38 “You heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,’
39 but I say to you, do not resist the wicked. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.
40 “And he who wants to sue you and take away your inner garment, let him have your outer garment as well.
41 “And whoever compels you to go one miliyon, go with him two.
42 “Give to him who asks of you, and from him who wants to borrow from you, do not turn away.
43 “You heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’
44 “But I say to you, love your enemies, baraḵ those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those insulting you and persecuting you,
45 so that you become sons of your Father in the shamayim. Because He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.
46 “For if you love those loving you, what reward have you? Are the tax collectors not doing the same too?
47 “And if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more? Are the tax collectors not doing so too?
48 “Therefore, be perfect, as your Father in the shamayim is perfect.

MATTIHYAHU
Matthew 5

08/12/25

2 Therefore, O man, you are without excuse, everyone who judges, for in which you judge another you condemn yourself, since you who judge practice the same.

2 And we know that the judgment of hWhY is according to truth against those who practice such.

3 And do you think, O man, you who judge those practicing such, and doing the same, that you shall escape the judgment of hWhY?

4 Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and tolerance, and patience, not knowing that the kindness of hWhY leads you to repentance?

5 But according to your hardness and your unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of hWhY,

6 who “shall render to each one according to his works”:

7 everlasting ḥai to those who by persistence in good work seek for esteem, and respect, and incorruptibility;

8 but wrath and displeasure to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness;

9 affliction and distress on every human being working what is evil, of the Yahuḏi first, and also of the Yawanite;

10 but esteem, respect, and peace to everyone working what is good, to the Yahuḏi first and also to the Yawanite.

11 For there is no partiality with hWhY.
